Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney has posted a trash-talking tweet about former President Donald Trump, though only a few people appear to be paying attention to anything she has to say.

“I like Republican presidents who win re-election,” the congresswoman wrote early Sunday morning in a tweet that contained a photo of another one of Trump’s nemeses, former President George W. Bush.

See her tweet below:

The tweet was presumably a direct response to the “must-see photo” of Bush and Cheney spliced together that the former president had published on Thursday

Trump posted the spliced photo right after news emerged that Bush had endorsed Cheney, a woman who he, Trump, is desperately seeking to oust from the GOP.

View the spliced photo below:

“RINO former President George ‘Dubya’ Bush and his flunky Karl Rove are endorsing warmongering and very low polling, Liz Cheney. Bush is the one who got us into the quicksand of the Middle East and, after spending trillions of dollars and killing nearly a million people, the Middle East was left in worse shape after 21 years than it was when he started his stupidity,” the president said in an accompanying statement.

“It ended with Biden’s most embarrassing in history withdrawal from Afghanistan, a total surrender, leaving $85 Billion dollars of equipment and many young Warriors lives behind Bush is the person who did not have the courage to give a pardon to his Vice President’s Chief of Staff, Scooter Libby, even though Cheney begged for him to do so. He wouldn’t, they didn’t talk for years.”

He concluded his statement by noting how he’d done what Bush had been too apprehensive about doing and pardoned Scooter Libby.

What especially offended the former president was Bush’s decision to endorse Cheney after he, Trump, had already endorsed her challenger, Harriet Hageman.

“I strongly endorse Republican House of Representatives Candidate Harriet Hageman from Wyoming who is running against warmonger and disloyal Republican, Liz Cheney. Harriet is a fourth-generation daughter of Wyoming, a very successful attorney, and has the support and respect of a truly great U.S. Senator, Wyoming’s own Cynthia Lummis,” he’d said in a statement on Sept. 9th.

“Harriet Hageman adores the Great State of Wyoming, is strong on Crime and Borders, powerfully supports the Second Amendment, loves our Military and our Vets, and will fight for Election Integrity and Energy Independence (which Biden has already given up). Unlike RINO Liz Cheney, Harriet is all in for America First. Harriet has my Complete and Total Endorsement in replacing the Democrats number one provider of sound bites, Liz Cheney. Make America Great Again!”

Roughly two weeks later, Bush not only endorsed Cheney but also announced that he intended to hold a fundraiser for her in October.

In response to Bush’s announcement last week, Democrats cheered:

But both Trump and his large base of GOP voters clearly felt differently.

Meanwhile, this same base likewise isn’t pleased by Cheney’s latest trash-talking tweet and has been bashing her relentlessly on Twitter over it.

The photo posted by the latter user was snapped at the jam-packed rally at the Georgia National Fairgrounds that Trump held on Saturday.

Media footage from the rally seems to show that, unlike Cheney’s events, it was bustling with throngs upon throngs of people.
