The Biden administration’s embrace of the big lie as a first, last, and only resort is having serious consequences after President Biden attacked his own Border Patrol over the hoax that agents engaged in the “whipping” of Haitian migrants, a blatant falsehood.
Following the uproar over the latest bogus narrative promoted by the White House, the agents who were wrongly accused were removed from duty with a vow from Biden that they “will pay,” a threat that brought an angry response from within the agency — which is a clear indication of how the badly that the regime has destroyed morale among those who are tasked with policing the nation’s southern border.
One agent told Fox News, “Would you go to work and do your best knowing that if you do your boss is going to ‘make you pay’?” adding, “I’m dumbfounded and don’t know what to say.”
“I see the administration wants to fry our agents. He just started a war with Border Patrol,” said another.
In order to shift attention away from the horrific conditions near Del Rio, Texas, where thousands of illegal immigrants had gathered in miserable conditions that some law enforcement officials compared to third world refugee camps, the Democrat propaganda machine went into overdrive and Biden, who has frequently used the bully pulpit to flex his authoritarian muscles, lashed out at the Border Patrol on Thursday.
Once again invoking the dark images of slavery, an insidious practice that hasn’t existed in America since the Civil War era, but has been effectively used by cynical Democrats and their allies to whip up racial resentment for political advantage, an angry POTUS openly lied that the Haitians were being “strapped” as he vowed there would be consequences.
The untruthful, racially-charged remarks were consistent with another big lie that Biden based his campaign on, the debunked but constantly repeated “very fine people on both sides” fairy tale that was successfully used to smear former President Donald J. Trump as a racist after the unfortunate events in Charlottesville, Virginia in August 2017.
Following Biden’s vow of punishment, Border Patrol agents expressed concern that they would be railroaded by an administration that has weaponized the federal law enforcement apparatus against political adversaries.
“Is the president threatening to throw us in prison?,” one agent told Fox News.
Mark Morgan, a former acting CBP commissioner told Fox that the agents have already been “condemned, careers ruined and reputations irreparably harmed, without any due process — all to distract from the out of control catastrophic crisis at our southern border.”
He added, “How will they get a fair impartial inquiry now when everyone in the chain of command all the way up to the president of the United States has already concluded they are already guilty of some form of atrocity?”
“For the president to say that, he has become emotionally unhinged and caved to the woke cancel culture,” Morgan said. “The agents feel betrayed, stabbed in the back, demoralized.”
Jon Anfinsen, who serves as the National Border Patrol Council Vice President told Fox, “This year’s ongoing immigration crisis has single-handedly done more to hurt the morale of the Border Patrol workforce than any other year in its history, and it didn’t have to happen like this,”
The Biden administration’s cruelty wasn’t limited to the framed agents, they also canceled the horses.

Fox News spoke with one of the former CBP horse agents who said, “the kids in the camp loved the horses and the horses are now locked in a stall all day.”
Biden’s flagrant disregard for the truth will only serve to further undermine faith in a government that has declared open war on tens of millions of Americans since he took office.
