Nicolle Wallace hijacks solemn observance of 9/11 to defend Biden’s dictatorial vaccine mandate

On a day when America respectfully observed the 20th anniversary of the most devastating terrorist attacks ever carried out against the nation, liberal pundits were engaged in what seemed to be a contest to outdo each other with stupid remarks and clueless comparisons.

If there was a trophy for the most asinine comment of the day, it would be awarded to MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace who during the network’s coverage of the memorial services, downplayed the horror of 9/11 with the flippant remark that COVID, which has been hyper-politicized by her employer, kills as many people in two days as did the Islamic fanatics who murdered nearly 3,000 innocent people on that terrible day.

Responding to a question by anchor Brian Williams about how historians will look back on the day and the wearing of masks, Wallace went to bat to defend President Joe Biden’s dictatorial vaccine mandate, an unnecessary interjection of the vaccine politics that the administration and its media allies have used to bludgeon their enemies with into what should have been a solemn occasion.

Williams’ larger point was about the absence of the national unity that occurred after the day that changed everything during the ongoing COVID crisis.

“Are you ever struck by the thought that on the 40th, 50th anniversary we will look back, perhaps, at some of these pictures and be reminded, oh, yeah, that’s when we were all wearing masks?” he said. “That’s when even our presidents and former presidents had to wear masks in public because of our uncontrolled pandemic in 2021?”

Wallace jumped at the opening to white knight for Biden, “You’ve got politicians and prominent folks in the media outraged by steps that a president, not too many presidents after the one we heard from today, would try to save his country from an unthinkable death toll,” she said, “as many people die every two days as died on September 11th in this country, who don’t have to die,”

Some on Twitter were appalled at how Wallace would hijack the 20th anniversary of 9/11 for her own cynical purposes.

Wallace, who served as White House Communications Director during the George W. Bush presidency has been one of the most strident of MSNBC’s personalities so the interjection of pro-Biden talking points isn’t exactly any great surprise but is an example of how absolutely nothing is sacred to the political left.

It was also a day when her old boss engaged in a bit of Biden-style “unity” when he claimed that “domestic extremists,” which is how the Biden regime views those who support former President Donald J. Trump , were equivalent to the terrorists who attacked America on his watch.

Wallace also likened patriotic Americans to terrorists, such as when she suggested that using drone strikes to kill Trump supporters should be considered.

There is a very good reason for the lack of unity for the divisive, dictatorial style of governance of President Biden and his fellow Democrats who have used COVID-19 to seize sweeping new powers while ignoring the Constitution and much of it can be blamed on a media that clearly sees its role as being political activists and not honestly informing the American people.
