The clock may be ticking down on the time to evacuate Americans and Afghan allies for an increasingly dangerous environment in Kabul but some in the military are stressing the importance of being “woke” amidst the chaos, a stunning example of the misplaced priorities at Joe Biden’s Pentagon.
On the same day that terrorists would murder 13 members of the U.S. military and dozens of Afghans by detonating suicide bombs outside of the Kabul airport, Sergeant Major of the Army Michael Grinston emphasized the importance of diversity in the ranks, taking to Twitter to engage in more of the tiresome virtue-signaling that has become commonplace under the “leadership” of Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.
The most senior enlisted member of the U.S. Army tweeted, “Diversity is a number – do you have people that don’t look or think like you in the room? Inclusion is listening and valuing those people.”
In a poorly timed, tone-deaf Twitter missive posted shortly before the blasts went off, SMA Grinston added, “#WomensEqualityDay reminds us we’re smarter and more lethal when we come together as an inclusive, cohesive team. Our values demand it.”

With military leadership fixated on achieving an ultimate level of wokeness, the terrorists were able to capitalize on such distractions and their bombs resulted in a gruesome toll outside of Hamid Karzai International Airport.

According to his official bio, the Alabama native “has held every enlisted leadership position in artillery” and “devotes the majority of his time traveling throughout the Army to observe training and interact with Soldiers and their Families. He sits on a variety of councils and boards that make decisions affecting enlisted Soldiers and their Families and routinely invited to testify before Congress.”
A decorated combat veteran who serves as the “public face” of the Army’s NCO Corps, Grinston wears his political ideology on his sleeve, taking to Twitter to lambaste Fox News host Tucker Carlson who is a private citizen earlier this year.

Grinston’s call for diversity comes as many are now becoming increasingly aware of the adverse effects of the Pentagon’s deviation from the official mission of protecting Americans in an increasingly dangerous world to one of social engineering, Critical Race Theory indoctrination, forced vaccinations, and the ongoing purge of troops suspected of having loyalties to former President Donald J. Trump from the ranks.
The new direction of the Armed Forces was underscored by the words of Joint Chiefs Of Staff Chairman General Mark Milley who stressed the importance of combatting “white rage,” a phantom menace that has nonetheless consumed the political left and has contributed to the misguided focus of the military under President Biden.

With the situation in Afghanistan now having turned deadly in the worst way possible and the conquering Taliban now in possession of U.S. military weaponry that was effectively gifted to them by the Biden administration, it is more important than ever that military leadership dispense with the “woke” ideology before the terrorists strike again, possibly on American soil next time.
