In news that doesn’t fit the progressive left’s idiotic notions of gun control, a woman saved her family by using a gun on an intruder who burst through her front door early Friday morning in south Toledo. The would-be burglar/rapist/murderer is now fighting for his life in the hospital because he came face to face with someone who employs their Second Amendment right.
He was shot multiple times by the homeowner and then stumbled out of the house where paramedics found him sprawled out on her lawn. Life-saving procedures were started as the man was loaded into an ambulance. He is said to be in critical condition, WTOL reported.
Several children were present in the house at the time of the incident, all unharmed. As a matter of procedure, the woman was taken into custody for questioning. According to the report both a man and woman were listed as occupants and evidently more than one person fired at the man.
As is always this case in a country turned upside down by leftism, stories like this rarely make the news, sometimes not even if they are of local interest. However, anytime a police officer kills someone it draws national attention and outrage that in the hands of lefties results ironically in more death.
In the video below, the newscaster seems to focus on the intruder more than the ostensibly innocent residents, and actually refers to the man as a “victim.” Sadly, that has become the norm. The sheep are still sheep, the wolves are victims and the sheepdogs of the nation are nothing more than privileged gun nuts. If the intruder had been successful in carrying out his now-unknown plan, how might the report have differed in its language?
If he had used a knife or a bat or his own hands, there may not have been a report at all. But if there’s a gun involved, it gets all the assistance of mainstream media and every liberal headcase in Congress to further a narrative.
If it’s a “good guy with a gun” stopping a bad guy story, you can forget about hearing it most of the time.
