Rudy Giuliani warns America has not seen the last of Andrew Cuomo, he WILL ‘resurrect himself’

Rudy Giuliani has admitted to being surprised that Andrew Cuomo resigned from office but predicted that the Democrat politician will find a method to mount a comeback.

“Andrew will resurrect himself in some way. He’s a very, very tough, determined guy…he’s a fighter, so he’ll find some way to resurrect himself; I just don’t think you can predict that right now,” a sympathetic Giuliani — who has known the Cuomo family for many years — declared.

“He’s probably stronger and more talented” than some other politicians who have found themselves engulfed in scandal, Rudy insisted during a phone-in to a show on WABC radio in New York

Acknowledging that he feels sorry for Cuomo, he recalls that the governor was, at one point, a potential president, but also someone with anger issues, and who has few, if any, friends among fellow Democrats.

Parenthetically, multimedia pundit Clay Travis has even suggested that Andrew Cuomo could run for governor in 2022.

Listen to the entire interview on “The Other Side of Midnight” program embedded below and draw your own conclusions:

Rudy suggested that Cuomo had no choice but to exit the governor’s mansion given the damning report from ambitious state Attorney General Letitia James in the sexual harassment investigation plus the entire Democrat establishment from Joe Biden on down calling for him to go.

It was equivalent to “Custer’s Last Stand,” the ex-NYC GOP mayor and federal prosecutor said.

He also claimed it was a “put-up con job” that was connected to the decision by Biden’s Justice Department to drop the investigation into the nursing home scandal in which Cuomo sent COVID-positive patients into those eldercare facilities, resulting in thousands of fatalities.

“I think the Democratic Party wanted to avoid at all costs — including fixing cases if they have to — any investigation of the nursing homes,” Giuliani claimed, “because it will bring down not just Cuomo, it could bring down Murphy in New Jersey, it could bring down who I call Whitless in Michigan…They all have the same problem…”

Along these lines, Giuliani seemed to agree with radio host Frank Marano that Democrats engineered Cuomo’s resignation over the sexual harassment allegations as a pretext to “prevent a day of reckoning” for the nursing home scandal and its coverup.

According to Marano, “80 percent” of the allegations in James’ report “are almost nothing; they’re either significantly exaggerated or virtually innocuous,” which is similar to what Fox News host Tucker Carlson has separately claimed.

President Trump’s lawyer in the Election 2020 challenge also contended that as part of a deal of some kind, prosecutors will ultimately drop any potential sex crimes charges against the governor now that he is stepping down.

He also blasted “left-wing socialist, bordering on communist” AG James and called for her law license to be revoked for what he considers her unethical actions in producing a “Comey-like report” that constituted an unfair prosecution by press conference.

“If I were Tish James, I would immediately resign as attorney general…she’s the attorney general and wants to be crowned king. You can’t tell me that this wasn’t a set up for her to become governor,” Rudy claimed.

Rudy also insisted that going forward with a Cuomo impeachment is a waste of time and money.

Democrat Assemblyman Ron Kim, however, has taken the opposite view in that the proceeding in the legislature is a way to hold Cuomo accountable for those who lost their lives in state nursing homes.

“People in New York have no idea ridiculous these Democrats are and how crooked they are,” Giuliani said at one point in the conversation. “If [Cuomo is] still loyal to that crooked party that he belongs to, he’s crazy. They just completely doubled-crossed him.”

Rudy Giuliani obviously has his own pending legal entanglements, which may be political in nature. His law license was suspended in New York, and he is facing a defamation lawsuit from Dominion Voting System. In late April, the FBI raided Rudy’s apartment as part of an investigation into Giuliani’s dealings in Ukraine.
