A Democrat activist described as a “reporter” by the liberal media was removed from a press conference being held by House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif.. on Thursday after exploiting human rights abuses in Cuba to score political points.
Grant Stern, the executive editor of the radical left Occupy Democrats organization, essentially ambushed McCarthy at a press conference in Hialeah Gardens, Fla., as the GOP leader spoke against “the oppression of people being picked up in the streets,” a reference to the actions of Cuban police.
“Minority leader, you said that the 1960 revolution, it created tyranny on the island of Cuba and I am asking you a question. It’s not a Democratic or Republican issue,” Stern said, as he was suddenly seen being moved backwards. “So, why do you oppose the January 6 Commission, sir? Why do you oppose the January 6 Commission, sir?”
He was yelling at this point, as he was clearly being physically removed from the room.
Stern would later claim he was forcibly removed by four police officers, according to reports.
I tried to ask @GOPLeader McCarthy a question after he decried Cuban police pickup up people in the streets.
Why does he oppose the bipartisan #January6thCommission?
A Congressional staffer had four cops pick me up and drag me from the room.

“A person with a Congressional logo pin or sticker harassed me before multiple police assaulted me,” he tweeted. He also whined about Republican lawmakers not standing up for “press freedom.”
While most journalists are little more than political activists these days, Stern is not seen as a journalist in the eyes of the rational.
McCarthy spokesperson Matt Sparks reportedly told The Independent that “congressional staff had nothing to do [with] his removal.”
Looking to fully exploit his moment in the limelight, Stern supposedly claimed that he was filing a civil rights lawsuit over the incident — the source of that information being no more reliable than the zealot himself.
BREAKING: Journalist Grant Stern tells me he’s filing a civil rights lawsuit, for being forcibly removed from Kevin McCarthy’s press conference yesterday.

McCarthy did announce his opposition to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s one-sided Jan. 6 select commission to “investigate” the protest at the U.S. Capitol in May. An endeavor that is little more than a political maneuver to keep the issue in the news leading up to the 2022 midterm elections — where politicos widely believe Pelosi will lose her gavel.
He played along when Pelosi pushed forward, only to see his top two selections to the panel be rejected by the speaker. McCarthy responded by pulling his other choices on the committee. The speaker appointed Trump-hating U.S. Reps. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., and Adam Kinzinger. R-Ill., to give her panel a “bipartisan” label.
These two lawmakers are frequently referred to today as “Pelosi Republicans.”
Comments seen on Stern’s Twitter feed in response to the incident would be made for a case study on how the uninformed left are so easily misled and react with great passion to a theatrical production designed for its political value, oblivious to reality.
