Alexander Vindman is trying to hawk a book, but he’s concerned that “New Yorkers,” as if they’re the only ones, are indifferent.
Retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Vindman received his proverbial 15 minutes of fame, or thereabouts, as the star witness in Trump impeachment 1.0.
Vindman, then of the National Security Council, was the individual who testified against President Trump before the misnamed, Democrat-controlled House Intelligence Committee about the ex-POTUS’s July 25, 2019, “perfect” phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Despite efforts by unhinged Democrats and their corporate media allies, impeachment was just political theater that turned out to be much ado about nothing, as it were.
“I’m in NYC to begin media engagements. Taking a random poll, it seem most New Yorkers are unaware that my book is out on Tuesday, August 3 and that I’m on @CBSSunday tomorrow between 9 and 10 eastern. Help get the word out an retweet this far and wide!,” Vindman wrote yesterday about the book oddly called Here, Right Matters: An American Story.

A track record exists for liberals getting rewarded with book deals from the big publishing houses after a grandstand play.
Most of these destined-to-be-unread, self-serving memoirs wind up in the physical or digital sale remainder bin, however, and seldom cover the author’s advance, unless, in some instances, a special interest group makes a sketchy bulk purchase.
Embedded below is the book-promoting segment from CBS News Sunday Morning, which is more or less about what you would expect from the mainstream media, although U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) gets a cameo.
Even as an author, Vindman doesn’t seem much like a champion of free speech, given a plan that he floated in March to sue conservative media out of existence.

In any event, apart from the many die-hard. living-in-the past Trump foes (and who knows how many of those accounts are bots), self-styled whistleblower Vindman is getting roasted on social media for his request for publicity in the face of apathy as he plans to make the rounds of other left-wing TV outlets as well as holding book signings.
Here is sampling from Twitter because, perhaps for once, a random poll may be accurate:

Lmao, who are you? Oh you were in the fraud impeachment.. the first one. hahahahaha

I think you can safely remove ‘New Yorkers’ from that sentence and it would be more accurate.

“…it seem (sic) most New Yorkers are unaware that my book is out on Tuesday…”
Here’s hoping they may continue in their bliss!

Your reminder that Alexander Vindman suffered so severely from TDS, that he bent the truth to take down a sitting President. https://t.co/EqqJz4G7s0

What is sad are the comments of people who admire this fraud.

I’m guessing it’s a cookbook. https://t.co/KPSPuU0OqP

Nobody knows about the book except for the fringe kook left. They might buy it, but don’t count on anyone with common sense or those of us that love our country.
Sad little man. https://t.co/YA12DtZqrZ— psychforensic 🇺🇸 (@psychforensic) August 1, 2021
Those that even might know @AVindman has a book coming out, aren’t interested in buying it. Hope you got good money up front and not a percent of sales.

I took a random poll, it seem nobody cares that you have a book coming out on Tuesday. https://t.co/vNpxIOEYkR
