In one fell swoop, Donald Trump Jr. has effectively trolled the left and also exposed the irrationality of their “thinking.”
It started Friday afternoon when political consultant Ryan James Girdusky posted a tweet mocking the irrationality of leftists who demand that Americans “carry a vaccine card to go anywhere” but cry foul at the prospect of voters having to prove their identity.

The left: you should have to carry a vaccine card to go anywhere in public
Also the left: you shouldn’t have to have an ID to vote

Trump responded to Girdusky’s tweet later that afternoon by suggesting that someone “introduce a bill mandating” that voters show their vaccination card to vote.
“Someone should introduce a bill mandating that you have to show your vaccination card to vote and watch everyone on the Left’s brain malfunction and explode,” he wrote.

His tweet itself made the left’s brains malfunction.
Thinking they were “owning” him, members of the left began trending the hashtag #VaxToVote as if completely oblivious to their own hypocrisy.

As much as I hate to agree with Don Jr, #VaxToVote sounds like a great idea, because…

It didn’t seem to dawn on any of them that they’d just proven that their longtime complaints about voter IDs being racist “voter suppression” were disingenuous agitprop.
First, data shows that blacks would be disproportionately affected by a vaccine voting mandate.
“Black and Hispanic Americans have lower vaccination rates than non-Hispanic white Americans. In the latest weekly survey from The Economist/YouGov, slightly less than half of Black and Hispanic adults reported being fully vaccinated, while more than 60 percent of white adults said they were,” according to FiveThirtyEight.
To be clear, this wouldn’t make the mandate racist. But the same applies to voter IDs. Yet to the left, requiring IDs is racist, but requiring vaccines wouldn’t be?
Of course, it was already known that Democrats have always been full of it:

Second, whereas any U.S. citizen can obtain a voter ID, some may not be able to obtain a vaccine. Some could even face possible harm were they to get vaccinated.
“It’s recommended that if you’ve had an allergic reaction any of the ingredients in the vaccine, you should not get it. If you had an allergic reaction to the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, the CDC doesn’t recommend getting the second dose,” the Cleveland Clinic notes.
Why? Because getting the vaccine could trigger anaphylaxis, which can be deadly.
“Anaphylaxis is a severe, potentially life-threatening allergic reaction. It can occur within seconds or minutes of exposure to something you’re allergic to, such as peanuts or bee stings. … If anaphylaxis isn’t treated right away, it can be fatal,” according to the Mayo Clinic.
Thus, a vaccine voting mandate would actually suppress votes, no? The irony wasn’t lost on Trump. Responding to the #VaxToVote hashtag, he mocked the left’s lack of critical thinking and referred to them as “so unhinged and braindead.”
Look:
Libs with a hilarious self-own trending #VaxToVote.
After years of crying about voter ID as a supposedly “racist” restriction on voting rights, the left is now un-ironically calling for vax cards to be required to vote…You know, an ACTUAL restriction on voting rights.
— Donald Trump Jr. (@DonaldJTrumpJr) July 31, 2021
I make a joke about an obviously crazy idea to highlight the hypocrisy of the left, but these authoritarian libs are so unhinged and braindead, that they of course think #VaxToVote is a good idea. You can’t make this shit up! 🤣
— Donald Trump Jr. (@DonaldJTrumpJr) July 31, 2021
Sadly, if a voter vaccine mandate is indeed ever instituted, and one of these leftists chooses to get vaccinated despite having an allergy (lest they be unable to vote), they could potentially one day wind up literally braindead …
