The widespread push to compel Americans to get vaccinated is beginning to reach chilling levels, with heavy-handed Democratic administrations around the country inching ever closer to vaccine mandates, beginning with the Biden White House.
With an unprecedented media-assisted frenzy underway to scare the unvaccinated, twisting arms and browbeating them into submission, along comes Geraldo Rivera flipping out in support of the politically correct narrative — for the good of the people, of course.
The Fox News quintet on “The Five” was discussing Tuesday’s developments, which included President Joe Biden saying that he’s “considering” vaccine mandates for federal workers and the CDC reinstating guidelines calling for masks, to include those who have already been vaccinated.
Rivera effectively defended the demonization of the unvaccinated, insisting that they are “arrogant, selfish SOBs.”
Co-host Jesse Watters said requiring the vaccinated to wear masks “doesn’t make any medical sense,” and slammed mandates for federal employees. But he really got Rivera’s blood boiling when he noted that “two-thirds of blacks and Hispanics have not been vaccinated,” before adding that “you cannot open the southern border to migrants from Mexico and Central America where they are seeing a big rise in cases and expect the Delta [variant] not to spread.”

While the media has no interest in reporting on the realities, there have been over 1 million migrants crossing illegally into the U.S. this year alone, as the illegal immigrant flow reaches historic levels.
A clip was run featuring CNN’s Don Lemon advocating for not allowing unvaccinated people to go grocery shopping, and California’s Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom going so far as to compare them to drunk drivers.
“It’s getting harder to say that vaccine is voluntary,” co-host Greg Gutfeld responded. “If you don’t do it your life is over, we will restrict your rights. So it’s no longer, let’s not kid ourselves, is not a voluntary thing anymore.”
He went into detail about how the media loves to pit Americans against each other, in this case, the vaccinated v. the unvaxxed, letting an S-bomb slip as he spoke about how it’s OK to criticize those who haven’t taken the jab, but not OK to say anything about the “experts who knew about, what’s the name of the sh*t — sorry, gain of function.”
Rivera was up next and he swore an oath to the experimental vaccine before making it clear that he was upset that Watters demonized illegal immigrants.
“I think the vaccine is absolutely bulletproof against this damn disease,” he declared. “We had a lightning storm in Cleveland last night, it was as likely to get hit by one of those lightning bolts as to get this terrible disease if you are vaccinated — this is a disease of the unvaccinated.”
“I am appalled, however, by these gentlemen to my left, ironically,” he continued, “who blame the border for the spread of this disease without any evidence, where is your proof?”
“In terms of the mandatory vaccines,” Rivera said, “to say that demonization of the unvaccinated, it’s not appropriate, you have to understand that if you’re unvaccinated then you should at least get tested every week, on your own. Or understand why you are banned from the VA, why you’re banned from restaurants, banned from other businesses and colleges increasingly, and they should be.”
“Because it’s selfish. If you are unvaccinated and you are going around without being tested, you are an arrogant, selfish SOB,” he concluded.
“What happened to ‘my body, my choice’?” Gutfeld would ask later in the segment.
“I do not believe ‘my body, my choice’ when it comes to the damn vaccine,” Rivera said. “I want you to be vaccinated, and if you are not vaccinated you have to have a reason like [being] immunocompromised.”
“I am absolutely in the camp of no shirt, no shoes, no vaccine, no service,” he added.
