Far-left Antifa-aligned extremists celebrated online Friday evening and Saturday morning in response to a Washington State sheriff’s deputy being murdered.
Clark County Sheriff’s Office Detective Sergeant Jeremy Brown, 46, was reportedly fatally shot at an apartment complex in the town of Vancouver (not to be confused with the Canadian city of Vancouver) while conducting surveillance in a jeep.
News of his death provoked celebration among far-left extremists, as initially documented by journalist Andy Ngo, an expert on left-wing extremism.

I’m sorry for the loss of the potential he had to stop being a pig of his own volition, and for his loved ones who are hurting. Also ACAB.

Note how one of the extremists tweeted “karma.” More on this later.
“Brown was in his vehicle conducting surveillance at the complex, when other law enforcement units in the area were unable to reach him on the radio. Around the same time, someone heard what sounded like gunshots and saw a man bleeding inside a vehicle. The person called 911,” local newspaper The Columbian reported.
“Two men and a woman were seen fleeing the area and were pursued by officers. The fleeing vehicle crashed near Padden Parkway and I-205, and the three suspects ran.”
Two of the suspects — Misty May Raya and Abran Raya Leon — were arrested on the scene. According to them, the third suspect, who’s still on the run, was the shooter.
“The two told investigators that Guillermo O. Raya, 26, believed the group was under police surveillance as they drove from a Target retail store to The Pointe Apartments in east Vancouver,” Oregon Public Broadcasting reported.
“When the trio entered the apartments, the documents said, Raya grew suspicious that the driver of a maroon vehicle was a police officer. The others, they told investigators, told Raya he was ‘trippin’.”
He then “left the apartment, took an indirect route to the car, then arrived at the Jeep’s driver side window,” after which he and Brown reportedly spoke before gunshots ran out.
As of Sunday morning, Raya was still on the loose and considered to be armed and dangerous.

Dovetailing back to the tweets up top, the reason one of them spoke of “karma” is because left-wing extremists believe Brown and two of his colleagues had unjustifiably shot and killed a black criminal suspect last year.
“Deputies shot and killed Kevin Peterson, 21, on Oct. 29 near the U.S. Bank on NE Highway 99 in Hazel Dell. … Officers with the regional drug task force were investigating Peterson for conspiracy to deliver controlled substances,” according to local station KOIN.
“Another deputy said Peterson pointed the gun at him ‘while running northbound,’ prompting him to fire at Peterson. Video from the bank showed Peterson fall, then sit up and point the gun, according to investigators.”
Brown was one of the officers involved in Peterson’s shooting. Despite the facts in the case, including Peterson’s hatred of the police, left-wing extremists automatically judged his death unjustified and proceeded to “protest” and riot:

One bit of good news is that the Biden administration is reportedly going after Antifa extremists.
Enough so, in fact, that the left-wing mainstream establishment media have been chastising the media for actually holding left-wing extremists accountable.
Last week Politico ran a report complaining that “the FBI’s dogged pursuit of Antifa and use of controversial tactics is troubling civil liberties advocates.”
Politico was especially concerned about the fate of Jessica Reznicek and Ruby Montoya, two extremists who’d caused $2.5 million in damages to a Dakota Access Pipeline construction site in 2016.
“[A]dministration officials have emphasized that the government will pursue domestic terrorists regardless of their ideological sympathies,” the outlet complained.
“And some progressive civil liberties advocates say the Biden strategy likely means people like Reznicek — whose concerns about the environment the Biden administration might share — may increasingly find themselves in law enforcement’s crosshairs.”
In other words, because the two extremists are left-wingers whose views align with that of the administration, they should be let off the hook, or so the piece seemed to be arguing.
The left is mad that “domestic terrorist” label isn’t being applied exclusively to conservatives. https://t.co/jVonyg0QFW

For now, the Biden administration reportedly disagrees.
