Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene believes President Donald Trump definitely won the state of Georgia in the 2020 presidential election but is doubtful that he’ll be reinstated anytime soon.
She revealed all this while speaking on Steve Bannon’s “War Room” podcast this Wednesday about the ongoing election audit in Fulton County, Georgia.
“I’ve been very careful about which things I think are correct about the election, and I’m really excited to say that this Fulton County audit that’s going on here in Georgia is right on the track. And I’m so excited for them and so proud of them,” she said.
“I’ve been talking to the lead attorney and talking with our other attorneys and hearing all about the real evidence they have, and this is something I can fully get behind. There was real election fraud that happened in Fulton County,” she added.

She then dropped the bombshell that she believes Trump won Georgia.
“Georgia did not go for Joe Biden. I have been saying this. I have lived in this state my entire life. We re-elected President Trump on Nov. 3, 2020,” she said.
Note that she didn’t say that Trump won the 2020 election. She said he won Georgia. To have won the election, he would have had to win more states.
With this in mind, Greene then cautioned the former president’s most hardcore supporters from buying into rumors that he’s going to be reinstated in August.
“I want people to be careful in what they believe. It’s going to be very difficult to overturn the 2020 election, and so I hate for anyone to get their hopes up thinking that President Trump is going to back in the White House in August,” she said.
“Because that’s not true. And I’m telling you as a member of Congress, that’s a very difficult thing to make happen,” she added.
Listen from around the 32:30 mark below:
The rumor has gone viral among the more conspiracy minded wing of the Trump base and has even been endorsed by MyPillow founder Mike Lindell.
“By the the morning of August 13, it will be the talk of the world, going, ‘Hurry up! Let’s get this election pulled down. Let’s right the right. Let’s get these communists out, you know, that have taken over,” Lindell said earlier just this week.
“You’ll see when I say that, and they’ll say what’s going to happen to all the people that were involved. I don’t know, right now the biggest concern is getting this election pulled on. Donald Trump won. It’s pretty simple, ok?” he added.
It’s actually not that simple. Until someone can fully prove otherwise, the official record is that Trump lost the 2020 presidential election. The goal therefore, according to Greene, is to actually prove that the election was fraudulent.
“They should move to decertify if it proves that Biden did not win the state of Georgia. If it shows election fraud and proves there were fraudulent absentee votes, then they should move to decertify,” she said.
“It’s just I don’t want people to get excited and think something’s going to happen and then get disappointed. We need to stick with the truth. We have to stick with the process. And we have to reveal the election fraud,” she added.

That said, Greene shared some of Lindell’s “hopium.”
“I also believe that Sen. David Purdue won on Nov 3rd, 2020, and I hope to see that revealed also,” she said.
If Purdue did hypothetically actually win his race, then the GOP would be in control of the Senate. At the moment, Democrats retain control.
Meanwhile, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has been accused by an election watchdog group of meddling in the 2020 election.
The group’s evidence is the recent admission by Raffensperger’s staff that, in violation of court orders, they’d secretly deployed their own team to inspect the mail-in-ballots in Fulton County, which is where allegations of voter fraud/malfeasance have been most prominent.
Moreover, his staff’s findings contradict claims from actual poll watchers who’d “described the mail-in ballots in sworn affidavits as devoid of creases and folds and featuring identically bubbled-in marks for Biden,” as reported by RealClearPolitics.
The ballots had essentially looked like “they’d been run through a photocopy machine.”

The watchdog group has also accused Raffensperger of breaking the chain of custody.
