Raytheon, America’s second largest defense firm, teaches critical race theory in training manual

Raytheon, the nation’s second-largest defense contractor, has reportedly gone fully “woke” just like the nation’s number one defense contractor, Lockheed Martin.

Christopher Rufo, the scholar and researcher who’s been documenting critical race theory’s pernicious corruption of America’s institutions, has obtained insider documents showing how Raytheon has fully embraced critical race theory propaganda.

According to Rufo, last year Raytheon CEO Greg Hayes signed off on an internal program, “Stronger Together,” that teaches employees how to “becom[e] an anti-racist today.”

“Anti-racist” is a code word for a racial essentialist who sees everything and defines everybody by their race. “Anti-racist” is therefore essentially a code word for a racist.

If you’re confused, don’t be surprised — this is how all of critical race theory and its offshoots function: without logic, reason or consistency.

In addition to signing off on “Stronger Together,” Hayes also signed a corporate diversity statement.

Signed by over 1,500 corporations, the statement calls for all signers to “increase equity” in their corporations.

“Equity” is a code word for equal outcomes. Whereas equality centers on ensuring everyone is afforded the same opportunity, “equity” centers on making certain everybody benefits from the same outcome.

The problem with “equity” is that the only way to create equal outcomes is through discrimination. That’s why the supporters of “equity” are OK with discriminating against Asians and whites through affirmative action, for instance.

Another example of “equity” can be seen in Raytheon’s “Stronger Together” program.

According to Rufo, the program “asks white employees” — and ONLY white employees — “to deconstruct their identities and ‘identify [their] privilege.'”

“The company argues that white, straight, Christian, able-bodied, English-speaking men are at the top of the intersectional hierarchy—and must work on ‘recognizing [their] privilege’ and ‘step aside’ in favor of other identity groups. According to outside diversity consultant Michelle Saahene, whites ‘have the privilege of individuality,’ while minorities ‘don’t have that privilege,'” Rufo notes.

Notice his use of the word “intersectional.”

“Intersectionality” is a foundational CRT principle that classifies people into a hierarchy based on their race, their religion, their gender, their sexuality, etc.

To hear CRT proponents tell it, whites and Asians are at the top of the hierarchy. But then why is it OK to discriminate against them if they’re the ones on top?

The truth is that white people (and “white-adjacent people” like Asians, to some degree) are at the bottom of the hierarchy because they allegedly were always the “oppressors” in history. As such, their viewpoints and interests matter least.

Conversely, black people are at the top of the hierarchy, so their viewpoints and interests matter most.

This is why, as an additional example, “Stronger Together” instructs Raytheon’s white employees — and only its white employees — to basically treat employees of other races as if they’re above them.

According to the document, white employees must ‘listen to the experiences’ of ‘marginalized identities’ and should ‘give [those with such identities] the floor in meetings or on calls, even if it means silencing yourself to do so,'” according to Rufo.

The program also contains instructions specifically about speaking with black people, who as a reminder are on the top of the “intersectional” hierarchy. They are essentially the kings and queens in American society, according to CRT.

“Next, in a chart titled ‘What Not to Say to Your Black Colleagues Right Now,’ Raytheon instructs white employees never to say that they ‘pray things change soon’ or hope that social tensions ‘calm down,’ which ‘says [their] comfort is more important than the message of anti-racism,'” Rufo notes.

“Whites should acknowledge that their own discomfort is only ‘a fraction’ of the emotional distress of black employees, who are ‘exhausted, mentally drained, frustrated, stressed, barely sleeping, scared and overwhelmed,'” according to Rufo.

Whites are also encouraged to donate their hard-earned money to minority-owned businesses, to support far-left political policies (“defund the police,” reparations, etc.), and to harass their white friends into also embracing this radicalism.

Raytheon is not alone in embracing this radicalism. Back in May, Rufo exposed Lockheed Martin for also going full-in on CRT propaganda.

In fact, thousands of corporations have embraced CRT, “equity,” “intersectionalism” and “antiracism.”

According to survivors of China’s Cultural Revolution and the Soviet Union, similar corruptions of institutions occurred in their home countries prior to the genocides and tyranny of Mao Zedong and Vladimir Lenin.
