Though America just got hit by another suspected-Russian cyber attack that reportedly impacted thousands of businesses, it appears the media are too busy covering President Joe Biden’s ice cream habits to genuinely press him about it.

“At least 200 US companies were hit by a major cyberattack just before the Fourth of July holiday kicked off. Huntress Labs, a cyber-security firm, said the ‘colossal’ ransomware attack occurred first at Kaseya, a Florida-based IT company, and then spread through the corporate networks that use its software,” the New York Post reported early Saturday afternoon.

Huntress Labs believes the Russia-linked REvil ransomware gang is likely responsible for the attack.

Later Saturday afternoon, the president was briefly asked about the attack as he was purchasing some ice cream from an ice cream parlor in Michigan. In response, he admitted that he hadn’t even been briefed about it.

Watch from around the 4:30 mark below:

“The fact is that the director of the intelligence community, he’ll give me a deep deep on what’s happening, and I’ll know better tomorrow,” he said.

As for reports that Russia is once again behind the attack, he expressed some doubt but vowed that he’s “told Putin we will respond.”

“If it is, either with the knowledge of and or the consequence of Russia, then I told Putin we will respond,” he said.

To be clear, he “told” that to Russian President Vladimir Putin when the two met last month in Geneva, Switzerland. However, he hasn’t spoken to the Russian president since, nor has he done anything publicly to hold him accountable.

Like House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy noted in a statement after the meeting last month, “President Biden gave Vladimir Putin a pass.”

And it seems like he’s continuing to do so.

The identity of the reporter who questioned Biden at the ice cream parlor Saturday is unclear. What’s known is that the majority of so-called “journalists” were too transfixed by their Dear Leader eating ice cream to care about the Russia situation.

Observe:

The sycophantic coverage spawned outrage. It would be one thing if this was a rare occurrence. But it wasn’t. The president has repeatedly gone out for ice cream, only to be showered with sycophantic coverage from the press every single time.

As noted by critics, it’s like an obsession with the media.

(*Language warning)

The sycophantic coverage is the exact opposite of the negative coverage that was regularly granted to former President Donald Trump.

Recall the negative coverage that erupted after he dared to enjoy two scoops of ice cream versus one scoop like his guests.

Now-deceased conservative radio show host Rush Limbaugh noted at the time that perhaps the then-president’s guests had simply not asked for another scoop.

“You just assume what the mass desires would be, and you always have the option that if the guest wants two scoops, the guest can ask. If the guest wants two entrees, the guest can ask. If the guest wants a Diet Coke, the guest can ask,” he said.

“There’s no alcohol served in the White House ’cause Trump doesn’t drink. He’s never drank. He’s never smoked. So they’re doing this nitpick here, ‘Trump gets two scoops ice cream and his guests don’t! What a meany!'”

Exactly. They always made negative assumptions about Trump. But with Biden now in office, they now always reflexively clap like seals no matter what he does, be it eat ice cream or let Russia get away with whatever the hell it wants.
