Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume dropped a friendly truth bomb on America’s paternalistic limousine liberals and their woke allies in the form of a quote originally from a far-left publication that could be a harbinger of future election outcomes.
In a Michael Barone syndicated column about the botched vote counting in the New York City Democrat mayoral primary, the election pundit referenced a passage from a March 2021 interview published by the trendy liberal New York magazine.
A progressive pollster told the publication that “white liberals are more left wing than Black and Hispanic Democrats on pretty much every issue: taxes, health care, policing, and even on racial issues or various measures of ‘racial resentment.’
“So as white liberals increasingly define the party’s image and messaging, that’s going to turn off nonwhite conservative Democrats and push them against us.”

Noting that front-runner Eric Adams, the ex-NYPD captain and Brooklyn borough president, racked up votes in minority precincts while being “shunned by affluent voters in Manhattan and by young hipsters in Brooklyn and Queens,” Barone added the following:
[Adams’] secret is that he ran way ahead, with 45% to 75% of first-choice votes in a multi-candidate field, in heavily black and Latino neighborhoods in the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens.
There the cry to defund the police is not an abstract matter, as it is still to affluent Manhattanites, or an adolescent rallying cry, as it is to the cash-strapped hipsters in gentrifying Queens and Brooklyn neighborhoods just across the East River from Manhattan.
Black and Latin homeowners with families and jobs know their neighborhoods can be destroyed and their lives ended by violent criminals. They want more rather than less policing in their neighborhoods.
In this general context, when the GOP candidate won the mayoral election last month in McAllen, Texas, in the Rio Grande Valley, it was reported that President Trump — who made inroads with voters in all demographic groups — was very competitive in the 2020 election in counties with large Hispanic populations along the Texas-Mexico border where illegal immigration is now surging.

Virtue-signaling limousine liberals, or champagne socialists as they are known in the U.K., use their wealth and/or connections to insulate themselves from policies they promote and impose on everyone else, which is particularly relevant in Democrat-run cities where violent crime is out of control.
One glaring example of same is the defund-the-police supporting, also-ran candidate in the NYC primary whose neighborhood benefits from a private security guard.

“Affluent gentry liberals, who jostle for places in private schools and in whose doorman-building neighborhoods violent crime is still rare, had more abstract concerns,” than middle- and working-class New Yorkers who voted in the Democrat primary for mayor, Barone suggested.
“Left-wing policies may be supported by hipster whites with adolescent enthusiasm, but gentry liberals increasingly have abstract questions about them, and they are rejected roundly by people of color…out of concrete concerns,” Barone concluded.
Parenthetically, studies suggest that voters from all walks of life support photo ID at the polls, a requirement that establishment Democrats perhaps consider worse than waterboarding.
Critical race theory, as another example, may also not be resonating with people outside the cushy academic bubble.
The winner of the Democrat primary is practically a lock to prevail in the general election, unless GOP candidate Curtis Sliwa, the Guardian Angels founder, pulls off a massive upset.
Brit Hume’s social media wake-up call to out-of-touch, agenda-driven liberal Democrats prompted many others to chime in approvingly. Here is just a sample of the huge response:
I believe it. It’s like the old saying, no one is more devout than a convert. White liberals you see being activists these days (Antifa, BLM rallies, blocking traffic, chanting to stop free speech) they are beyond hard core. Most people are more tempered in life in general.

Well when POC realize that the Democrats used “race” against them in prior decades CC Japanese interment camps, CC Jim Crow and recognize the playbook for power they’ll recognize that eventually the Democrats turn against every citizen for raw power

Amen, I have been saying this for years. It is my lived experience.

Absolutely! I as a white Latino woman don’t feel guilty at all. Mostly whites do

Affluent white suburban women and beta males, propagandized in a college feminist liberal arts garbage curriculum, sheltered and given everything by a society they now seek to destroy. Logic and reason not only no longer apply, they are racist.

I have always said America has a spoiled white kid and white Marxists problem. When we all wake up to that fact, we will be United again, and we can fix this place.

White guilt is a helluva drug, but whatever drug makes the “woke” try to “out-woke” the “uber-woke” is the damnedest drug of all.

My interpretation is Blacks & Hispanics are smarter than white pandering liberals who in the end don’t give 2 shits about them unless it gets them re-elected
