Charles Barkley shreds ‘jacka**es’ of cancel culture: Can’t even talk about big ol’ women down in San Antonio!

NBA great Charles Barkley is nothing if not outspoken. He can also be pretty funny at times, but that’s risky territory in today’s hypersensitive world where folks take offense over the slightest provocations.

The popular “Inside the NBA” analyst is beloved because of his direct honesty and sense of humor, and Barkley understands that you have to have a little fun being on television for up to six hours.

During a phone-in appearance on the Grant and Danny Show on 106.7 The Fan, the former player said he doesn’t understand how some people take everything so damn seriously — especially amid the pandemic.

He then commented on today’s cancel culture.

“The PC people are out overboard right now,” Barkley said. “I can’t imagine you guys doing a show every day, how crazy it is for you. Like, it’s gotten so out of hand right now, I couldn’t imagine having to watch myself — you can’t even have fun nowadays without these jackasses trying to get you canceled and things like that.”

Explaining that he’s trying to hang in there until he’s 60 — another two years — Sir Charles said after that the PC crowd can “kiss my *ss.”

“All we ever talk about behind the scenes now is ‘yo man, be careful going in this direction,’ — we can’t even have fun anymore,” Barkley said, referring to his co-hosts on the show. “We’ve had fun all these years, and now all of a sudden in the last year and a half, everybody’s trying to get everybody fired and it really sucks.”

He said there is no more agreeing to disagree, and Barkley called his bosses at TNT “cowards” for drawing a line on having fun.

“They won’t even let me talk about San Antonio anymore! You know, when I’m always talking about them big ol’ women down in San Antonio?”

Barkley explained that he was told that one lady wrote a letter complaining about him joking about women in the Texas city.

“I didn’t call anybody personally fat in San Antonio, I was just joking around,” Barkley added. “One lady wrote this article, you’re gonna let one lady – we’ve been having fun with this for 10, 15 years.”

This is a reference to Barkley joking in 2016 about “big ol’” San Antonio women.

“They wear them big ol’ bloomers down there, they can’t get in them cute little panties, they wear bloomers,” he joked at the time.

Barkley has endured plenty of scorn for his weight as a player — he was often referred to as the “Round Mound of Rebound” for his rebounding prowess.

More recently, Barkley took heat for joking about the University of Georgia Bulldogs being a nod to their women.

“Georgia the only school in the world they named their mascot after the women down there,” he said in April.

Calling himself “fat,” Barkley said they’re “just trying to have some fun”

“Listen, at 12:45 at night, you’re like what can we do to make — I’m going to say stupid things, funny things hopefully,” he said, noting that they’re on air until 2 a.m. covering the West Coast games.

Of course, if Barkley is going to get canceled, it will likely be for not adhering to the radical left’s agenda.

Such as when he ripped the Democratic Party’s “defund police” movement, asking, “Who are black people supposed to call, Ghostbusters?”
