‘Disgusted’: MTG holds nothing back in total takedown of Congress and ‘weak Republicans’

U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) claims that many of her colleagues are unqualified “losers” who can’t cut it outside of a college campus, in a government job or in a mediocre law practice.

Others enjoy clout-chasing in the world of politics, she implied in a Fox Nation interview. This is why the institution is failing America, she insisted, with “weak Republicans” being part of the obstacle.

Upon in arriving in Congress, accordingly, Greene learned why the country is drowning in massive debt and America “feels like it’s crumbling.”

In a report card delivered on “Tucker Carlson Today,” the Fox Nation streaming show, she also declared that “Congress, to me, was a really big disappointment…I’ve been pretty disgusted with it.”

“This is a system that is severely failing the American people, and the American people have no idea how bad it is,” the first-term lawmaker and controversial conservative firebrand told host Tucker Carlson on the show.

“They’re not impressive people, and the other part is that they can’t relate to real America, because they’ve never functioned in it, they’ve never succeeded in it. They’ve never built something and been tested,” such as having to meet a payroll and the overhead that is involved in running a business, as well as developing vital and ongoing customer relationships, the small business owner explained to Carlson, in a portion of the interview that aired on “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

The lack of practical, private-sector business experience in the House chamber is apparently the essence of the problem in Greene’s view.

“They don’t appreciate the hard-earned tax dollars that people work so hard for and have to pay to the government. They don’t appreciate these people’s money because they waste it and throw it away. They spend it on frivolous programs that make them feel good about themselves…as a matter of fact, most the bills that they the pass is why we should not reelect them….,” Greene added.

“Congress needs to be held accountable for every single American, and I don’t care if they’re Republican or Democrat,” she said.

Greene, who represents the solid red 14th congressional district in Georgia, then turned her attention specifically to the shortcomings of the Grand Old Party.

“Republicans need to do what they say they’re going to do, instead of just continuing to say it…the truth is Republican voters and donors are sick and tired and fed up with weak Republicans that never accomplish what they claim they’re going to do. And they vote for them, and they donate…,” Greene said.

“But what I’ve been hearing over and over again from big donors all the way down to the sweetest people that can’t afford to donate, that just vote because they know it’s their civic duty, and they’re just good people, is they are very much upset and done with the Republican Party right now,” Greene, who has become a powerhouse fundraiser in her own right, lamented. “I think that’s tragic.”

“I hate to lose, and I don’t want to lose our country, and I don’t want to see the party that I affiliate myself with fail people, and I don’t want to see people disappointed, and I don’t want to see people lose their hopes and their dreams,” Greene added.

Elsewhere during the interview, Greene reportedly said that “We had a Republican-controlled House and Senate and the Republicans failed us. They didn’t repeal Obamacare, they didn’t defund Planned Parenthood and they didn’t build the wall.”

Greene is likely alluding to the U.S. House under GOP Speaker Paul Ryan, who inexplicably went from reformer to swamp creature when he received the gavel. Those failings apparently motivated her to seek federal office.

Greene was famously stripped of her House committee assignments, putting her metaphorically on her own island, for espousing certain conspiracy theories. Democrats even floated the idea of expelling her from Congress altogether, for supposedly supporting “sedition,” but that — at least for now — has died down.

That hasn’t stopped her momentum in becoming one of the most vocal and high-profile MAGA supporters in Congress.

Like her or not, Greene is one of an unprecedented number of mostly pro-Trump, high-energy female Republicans who were elected to Congress in Election 2020. President Trump has described her as a “very special person” during a recent meetup at Mar-a-Lago in Florida.

In what is likely to raise the blood pressure of liberals everywhere, Marjorie Taylor Greene and fellow lawmaker, “Florida Man” Matt Gaetz, are launching an “America  First” tour in which they plan to call out RINOs and radical leftists.
