Law enforcement authorities that raided Rudy Giuliani’s apartment early Wednesday morning over alleged illegal lobbying on behalf of Ukraine are purportedly less interested in collecting evidence of Hunter Biden’s alleged influence-peddling in that country, according to Andrew Giuliani.
Andrew Giuliani and his father Rudy, had reportedly even offered copies of hard drives from Hunter Biden’s laptop to the FBI several times but allegedly got the brush off.
The laptop allegedly contains material suggesting that Hunter Biden utilized his father’s influence to make lucrative deals in Ukraine, Russia, and China, a story that Big Tech sought to suppress in the run-up to Election 2020.
After the election, Hunter Biden admitted that he is under federal investigation, but has been coy about whether the laptop belongs to him. It’s not clear if the probe will go anywhere. The FBI reportedly seized the actual Biden laptop from a Delaware computer shop pursuant to a subpoena in late 2019.
Some have called this Democrat or liberal privilege and that, particularly in the last four years, the legal system appears to have been weaponized against Republicans who are or were associated with former President Trump such as Gen Michael Flynn, Roger Stone, and now Trump’s ex-lawyer Rudy Giuliani in the post-election period, among others.
In a statement, Rudy’s Giuliani’s lawyer called the raid, during which agents seized the ex-NYC mayor’s electronic devices, a manifestation of a Trump Derangement Syndrome vendetta in which the DOJ is “running roughshod over the constitutional rights of anyone involved in, or legally defending, former President Donald J. Trump.”
The statement also claimed that agents improperly took material covered by attorney-client privilege but they didn’t even bother to check the hard drives in question.
“Keep in mind that the agents could not read the physical hard drives without plugging them in, but they took Mr. Giuliani’s word that the hard drives were copies of Hunter Biden’s hard drive and did not contain anything pertaining to Mr. Giuliani,” attorney Robert Costello said in the statement. “Their reliance on Mr. Giuliani’s credibility tells you everything you need to know about this case.”
“Mr. Giuliani respects the law, and he can demonstrate that his conduct as a lawyer and a citizen was absolutely legal and ethical,” Costello added about the investigation underway by the Manhattan-based U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York.
In remarks delivered outside his father’s apartment on Wednesday, Andrew Giuliani, a potential GOP candidate for New York governor, similarly claimed the FBI raid was politically motivated and called attention to the ignored Biden laptop issue.
“Mind you, I am speaking as a son and a concerned American. Anybody, any American, whether you are red or blue, should be extremely disturbed by what happened here today, by the continued politicization of the Justice Department. This is disgusting; this is absolutely absurd….
“If this can happen to the former president’s lawyer, this can happen to any American. Enough is enough,” the younger Giuliani stated.
“The only piece of evidence that they did not take up there today was the only piece of incriminating evidence that is in there, and it does not belong to my father. It belongs to the current president’s son…our Justice Department should be independent of politics,” he added.
In the meantime, news that Hunter Biden is set to be a guest Tulane University lecturer in a course about “media polarization” has prompted ridicule on social media.
So hunter Biden is going to teach a class on "Fake News" at Tulane… Yet another job, in a long list of jobs, he has absolutely no qualifications for… Liberal Privilege is a hell of a drug! My thoughts. https://t.co/kIpeeSOK8q

Putting Hunter Biden into a position of power over college girls is as much of a recipe for disaster as putting Hunter Biden in a room full of crack. Insane. @Tulane is putting women in danger. https://t.co/4pRM52oCWB

Perhaps Hunter Biden’s class at Tulane will be about how to skirt around gun laws?
It’s a subject he has a great deal of experience in.
