Don Jr. reacts to getting fact-checked by Instagram for a Lebron James meme he labeled ‘a parody’

The remarkable thing about Big Tech’s Orwellian censors and… ahem, “fact checkers” is that they almost exclusively target those on the right and don’t even feel the need to justify the one-sided approach.

And should it be a member of the Trump family, you can pretty much guarantee they will face added scrutiny, just ask Donald Trump Jr.

Former President Donald Trump’s eldest son and namesake posted on Instagram what he clearly labeled as “a parody,” a meme mocking NBA star Lebron James, with the whiney social justice warrior purportedly saying, “We’re at the point where a girl can’t even stab her friends anymore.”

The meme was posted as an Instagram story in response to an Ohio police officer shooting 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant,  who was seconds away from stabbing another young black girl with a large knife — amid today’s rabid anti-cop environment on the left, the officer was attacked as a racist.

The post is seen below, uncensored, on Trump Jr’s Instagram feed:

The caption included two remarks, one suggesting this is “probably” what James said, and the other directed at so-called fact-checkers — given that Trump Jr. has seen enough bias against his family, he knew it was coming.

“For the fact checkers this is a parody and not to be taken seriously!!! Though, if you listen to him it sounds more plausible than not… at least to me,” the second entry read.

Like a lame Saturday Night Live skit, liberals who graciously appointed themselves arbiters of the truth did not disappoint: “False Information.”

James was dragged online unmercifully for days over a tweet threatening the officer who shot and killed knife-wielding Bryant a split second before she stabbed the other teen girl.

And while the NBA player soon deleted the tweet, he made matters worse by trying to justify it by pushing the false narrative on the left about racist cops targeting black people.

Things got so bad for James that a Cincinnati bar owner told patrons he will no longer show NBA games until the player was “expelled” — worth an estimated $500 million, James smugly responded: “Aww Damn! I was headed there to watch our game tonight and have a drink! Welp.”

So committed to their anti-cop narrative, Democrats, led by former Obama lieutenant Valerie Jarrett, played down the fact that Bryant was trying to stab a girl. According to Jarrett, the officer overreacted. A Black Lives Matter movement cofounder bemoaned that teens have been having fights involving knives “for eons.”

(This being a knife fight with only one armed combatant.)

In a follow up Instagram story, Trump Jr. commented on how ridiculous the whole thing is.

“So I get a fact check on a post removed and I post about it because I was very clear that the post was a parody and they fact check me on the story talking about getting the original fact check cleared from 3 different ‘fact checkers’ who very clearly didn’t actually read the post. Thanks Instagram,” he said.

As for James, one tweet from Trump Jr. that escaped censorship is seen here:
