The left have so fully invested into demonizing police as racists quick to kill black Americans that they refuse to acknowledge that a Columbus, Ohio, officer saved a young black female from being stabbed, perhaps fatally.
The shooting death of 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant — coming on the day former Minneapolis Police officer Derek Chauvin was found guilty of murder in the death of George Floyd — has dominated the news cycle, and there has been a rush to find fault with the cop who fatally shot Bryant as she appeared to be in the process of stabbing another teen.
Add Fox News’ Juan Williams to the mix of those who insist the officer should have taken some other action, even though he only had a split second to react to stop the knife attack.
Asked Thursday by “The Five” co-host Jesse Watters what he would have done if he was the officer, Williams’ response showed just how far liberals are willing to contort themselves to maintain a contrived anti-police narrative.
“I guess I would shoot the gun, not necessarily at somebody, but maybe shoot the gun and maybe, you know, run at the person and try to disarm them, I don’t know,” replied Williams.

“So wait wait, you would shoot the gun in the air like a warning shot?” Watters asked.
“Well, hopefully to distract her and try to stall or something so I could get — or my partner could get the knife away,” Williams said. “I don’t know, taking someone’s life is pretty strong.”
As ridiculous as the idea of a warning shot is, after all, Joy Behar of “The View” offered a similar take, even suggesting the officer could have shot Bryant in the rear end. There were others, such as former Obama lieutenant Valerie Jarrett, who went so far as to downplay the knife attack and suggest that the cop overreacted.
“A Black teenage girl named Ma’Khia Bryant was killed because a police officer immediately decided to shoot her multiple times in order to break up a knife fight. Demand accountability. Fight for justice. #BlackLivesMatter,” Jarrett tweeted.
When this cabal says black lives matter, it apparently comes with conditions as it seems the life of the black teen saved from being stabbed does not factor in here.
Williams somewhat agreed with Watters that his suggestion may not have worked, and even acknowledged that “policing is tough work.”
“I think that that woman with a knife is a danger to society, and certainly a danger to the other person, and we want her to stop and be disarmed,” he said. “I just also think that killing a human is pretty radical. I don’t think that’s a good thing.”
And while no rational person would disagree with that take, the body cam footage clearly shows the officer had no time to ponder the options if he wanted to save the potential stabbing victim.
Paula Bryant described her daughter as a “very loving, peaceful little girl,” with “a motherly nature.” She also insisted her daughter “was defending herself.”
But the officer’s body cam video showed her as the aggressor, as did footage from a neighbor’s security camera.
“I’m gonna stab the f*ck out of you, b*tch,” the younger Bryant can be heard telling another female on the scene.
Another neighbor pointed to the video footage to say the officer did not have a choice.
“I believe in truth and facts. Video doesn’t lie. She was in full attack mode,” the man told the Columbia Dispatch.
