Kathy Barnette has a message for Joe Biden and the Democrats.
“You can try to demean me or call me names for what I believe, but Joe Biden, after the November election in 2022, you can call me something else: Senator — because this determined, black conservative woman is going to become the next United States senator from the commonwealth of Pennsylvania…I will not be bullied into silence,” she declared in a powerful and patriotic campaign commercial filmed at the Gettysburg Civil War battlefield embedded below.
In a callback to Biden’s off-the-wall claim during the Election 2020 season that someone who votes for Trump “ain’t black,” Barnette added that “Joe Biden might not think I’m black enough because I won’t just shut up and do as I’m told. And D.C. might not be ready for me, but I’ve never been more ready for this fight.”
Barnette, 49, seeks to replace pro-Impeachment Republican Sen. Pat Toomey who is not running for reelection.
If she is successful, the U.S. Army veteran and mother of four would become the first black Republican woman elected to the upper chamber.
According to her bio, she served 10 years in the Army Reserves, which included admission to the officer candidacy school, and has a background working for corporate America, in academia, and as an author and political commentator, plus homeschooling two kids.
In an appearance on Fox and Friends on the Fox News Channel, Barnette implied to co-host Ainsley Earhardt that the radical, far-left agenda that the Democrats are intent on implementing is a motive for seeking federal office.
“I’ve always believed that if we’re going to do anything to really make the change that we want, it’s gonna have to come from people like us. I’m always reminded of that Edmund Burke quote that…’the only thing that is necessary for evil to prevail is if good people to do nothing.'”
Everyday citizens are understandably busy going about their daily responsibilities and challenges and understandably not consumed with politics. This, however, leaves a vacuum now filled by those “with some of the most ridiculous policies that are having a very real impact on all of our lives,” she explained.
“So I’m running for a variety of reasons, but that is one of them, is to preserve this nation, because they are coming to attack it,” Barnette declared.

Barnette also scoffed at paternalistic Democrats like Joe Biden who claim that the Georgia voting reform is anything comparable to Jim Crow laws.
“I’ve been black all my life. I know a lot of black people. And I don’t know one black person who does not have an ID. And I know black people across the entire….socio-economic spectrum…and they have IDs.”
Insofar as the Georgia controversy is concerned, Barnette added that Democrats “look at black people as though we’re all just a bunch of undifferentiated black souls, that there is no nuances about any of us. It’s quite, you know, racist.”
The GOP candidate also implied in the Fox News interview that the stakes that America currently faces given the ideological onslaught by the left on America’s freedoms and traditions are just as defining as in 1776, during the Civil War, and the civil rights movement in the 1960s.
I'm Kathy Barnette and I'm running to become the first Black Republican Woman elected to the US Senate. I’ll be the voice we need to defend our rights.
And by the way, Joe, just because I believe in competent leadership doesn't mean "I ain't Black!” https://t.co/hSI2PTIt1w pic.twitter.com/wHT76sVT79
