Former President Donald Trump will reportedly be back on social media in the very near future with his own game-changing platform.
“This new platform is gonna be big, and everyone wants him. He’s gonna bring millions and millions, tens of millions, of people to this new platform,” key adviser Jason Miller claimed.
Miller’s comments, which are significant in that he appears to be part of the Trump inner circle, came in an interview on “#Media Buzz” on the Fox News Channel Sunday.
Miller told host Howard Kurtz that he couldn’t go into more detail on Trump’s plans, but at the beginning of the discussion, he implied the wheels are definitely in motion.
From the way Miller was talking, moreover, it sounds like Trump may not seek account reinstatement from Twitter or Facebook.

“I do think that we’re gonna to see President Trump returning to social media and probably about two or three months here, with his own platform, and this is something that I think will be the hottest ticket in social media. It’s gonna completely redefine the game, and everybody is going to be waiting and watching to see what exactly President Trump does. But it will be his own platform,” Miller explained.
Miller added that multiple tech firms have supposedly pitched the idea to the ex-POTUS.
“It will be big once he starts. There have been a lot of high-powered meetings he’s been having at Mar-a-Lago with some teams of folks who have been coming in. And I got to tell you, there have been – it’s not just one company that’s approached the president. There have been numerous companies. But I think the president does know what direction that he wants to head here,” Miller concluded.
Trump, who of course regularly shared his unfiltered thoughts with America and the world on Twitter before he was booted from the platform, has not joined free-speech alternatives Parler or Gab, which may provide an indication for the premise that he prefers to chart his own course.
Presumably, Trump has sufficient financial resources to hire competent, committed software engineers who can create the infrastructure for a seamless, independent platform outside of the control of liberal Big Tech.
Apart from the millions of his supporters who would likely sign up, another advantage of a purported MAGA media platform is that even the former president’s obsessive detractors — who may be experiencing digital withdrawal symptoms in the absence of Trump tweets — may find it irresistible.
Earlier in the interview, Miller noted that since Trump has been banned by Big Tech, “his press releases, his statements have actually been getting almost more play than he ever did on Twitter before,” perhaps because the long-form messaging is more presidential. Trump had approximately 88 million followers on that social network before he was banned.
