In his State of the State address delivered at an empty Dodger Stadium instead of in the California legislative chamber in Sacramento, lockdown-loving Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom told his constituents that post-pandemic life is never going back to normal in order to correct inequities and implement so-called economic justice.
A new, left-wing normal is apparently in play even though the governor conceded that state residents are “exhausted” by the various stringent economy- and emotionally-crushing restrictions that he imposed and that are ever-so-slowly being relaxed by the party of science perhaps for political reasons.
“When this pandemic ends—and it will end soon—we’re not going back to normal. Normal was never good enough. Normal accepts inequity. That’s why Latinos are dying from COVID at a higher rate than any other racial or ethnic group. Why mothers have been leaving the workforce in staggering numbers. Our eyes are wide open to what’s wrong. Our journey back must also be a path to close those inequities. There is no economic recovery without economic justice,” Newsom claimed as part of his speech, Fox 11 Los Angeles reported.
Newsom critics would likely argue that this form of pandering suggests that he is unaware that people in California from all backgrounds and walks of life just want to go back to work and to school.
In a recent truth bomb, moreover, Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson explained that in reality, “equality challenges power; equity protects power,” which is the exact opposite of what liberals like Newsom try to sell the public.

With more than enough petition signatures piling up to officially trigger an election once they are fully verified, it seems highly likely that the grassroots Newsom recall will go forward later this year.
In casting their ballots, voters in a state run completely by Democrats who oversee such procedures, could decide to keep him in office, rather than remove him, however, in that special election.

Newsom also touted what he described as vaccine equity, boasting that California supposedly ranks sixth in the world for for the vaccine rollout, and otherwise “painted a rosy picture of the state’s future,” KTLA reported.
“He spoke before a ballpark absent of fans in the stands to symbolize a state COVID-19 death toll — 54,395 — that nearly matches Dodger Stadium’s seating capacity,” Fox 11 added. The ballpark was one of the state’s first mass-inoculation venues.
In a flagrant form of projection, Newsom separately implied that recall proponents are trying to orchestrate a partisan power grab “with outdated prejudices,” which seems to be an already-established talking point by the governor and his acolytes.
The Newsom recall effort gained tremendous traction with a broad cross-section of the state population after the governor was caught violating his own stay-at-home rules by partying maskless with lobbyists at an upscale eatery in northern California. Newsom is one of many Democrats around the country who were seen flouting their own guidelines.
In a critique of the speech, ex-San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer, Newsom’s principal GOP recall rival so far, quipped that “as more of our neighbors pack up and move out of state, it seems the only people thriving under Gavin Newsom are the folks that work at U-Haul.”

Social media users scoffed at Newsom’s vow that life should not regain normalcy. Here is a sampling:

They aren’t even trying to hide it anymore. COVID is being used to instill socialism via fascism.
This was thought to be a conspiracy theory in 2020, & yet it could not be more real.
“Inequity” means unequal OUTCOMES to King Gavin (though his riches are fine) NOT opportunities.

The best way to deal with equity is to make everyone equitably miserable.

Yes, I know a lot of people who hate them both, incl me. Many CA folks lost their jobs due to the pandemic and got little relief from Republicans then were terrorized by the deliberate under-staffing of the EDD by the Democratic-controlled state lege and governor for over a year.

If you haven’t thought this whole thing was political, you should now. #RecallNewsom

😂 Wrong. You’re done, @GavinNewsom. No way in hell is this about inequity. It’s always been about control. And the people of CA don’t accept or believe your BS anymore. You’ve killed enough businesses and destroyed enough children’s education and mental health. Bye.

@GavinNewsom Normal accepts Capitalism and a Constitutional Republic. Under King Newsoms rule, the only thing that is equal is the misery of California citizens.

One way that Newsom’s inequity can be solved is if he confiscates wealth from actors, actresses, movie and tv related rich people and companies.
