More sexual harassment allegations against New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who’s now being described by some as the real-life Pepé Le Pew, emerged Saturday.
One accuser, former press aide Karen Hinton, recounted a “very long, too long, too tight, too intimate” hug from Cuomo, while the other accuser, former aide Ana Liss, revealed that the governor once touched her lower back and kissed her cheeks.
The allegations from Hinton appeared in The Washington Post.
“A former press aide of Andrew M. Cuomo says he summoned her to his dimly lit hotel room and embraced her after a work event in 2000, when Cuomo led the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and she was a consultant for the agency,” the left-wing outlet reported Saturday.
“The woman, Karen Hinton, says she pulled away from Cuomo, but he pulled her back toward his body, holding her before she backed away and left the room.”

The governor has already denied the allegations.
“This did not happen. Karen Hinton is a known antagonist of the Governor’s who is attempting to take advantage of this moment to score cheap points with made up allegations from 21 years ago,” his director of communications, a man named Peter Ajemian, said to the Post.
“All women have the right to come forward and tell their story — however, it’s also the responsibility of the press to consider self-motivation. This is reckless.”
Hinton reportedly responded by noting that “attacking the accuser is the classic playbook of powerful men trying to protect themselves.”
Meanwhile, the allegations from Liss appeared in The Wall Street Journal.
“Ms. Liss recalled working at a May 6, 2014, reception at the Executive Mansion in Albany, which is Mr. Cuomo’s official residence. Mr. Cuomo was in a living room on the north side of the mansion’s first floor and noticed Ms. Liss, she recalled,” as reported by the right-leaning paper on Saturday.
“He came right over to me and he was like, ‘Hey, Sweetheart!'” she recalled to the paper.
According to the Journal, the governor then allegedly “hugged her, kissed her on both cheeks and then wrapped his arm around her lower back and grabbed her waist.”
They then reportedly turned to a photographer who proceeded to snap the following pic:

The governor has fessed up to these allegations but maintains that his behavior was perfectly OK.
“Reporters and photographers have covered the governor for 14 years watching him kiss men and women and posing for pictures. At the public open-house mansion reception, there are hundreds of people, and he poses for hundreds of pictures. That’s what people in politics do,” a senior adviser said to the Journal.
The Post’s write-up about Hinton also included allegations from other former aides, both male and female, about Cuomo’s reportedly nasty temperament and inappropriate questions.
“Two male aides who worked for Cuomo in the New York governor’s office say he routinely berated them with explicit language, making comments such as calling them ‘pussies’ and saying, ‘You have no balls,'” the Post reported.
“And three women, all of whom worked in the governor’s office as young staffers in recent years, say Cuomo quizzed them about their dating lives. They say they did not view the encounters as propositions, but rather as part of an office culture they believed was degrading to young women.”
The Post’s sources also claimed Cuomo frequently “unleashes searing verbal attacks on subordinates” and seems “to delight in humiliating his employees.”
“What this is is a systemic, intentional, hostile, toxic workplace environment that … perpetuates abusive treatment of people who don’t have power or resources,” one of the sources reportedly said to the paper.
Combined, these litany of allegations — all following the bombshell original accusations by Lindsey Boylan — have provoked calls for the governor’s resignation from a spate of high-profile figures, including Cuomo’s original accuser:

Meanwhile, a Saturday column from The New York Times decrying Loony Tunes character Pepé Le Pew for perpetuating “rape culture” inspired some into accusing Cuomo of being the real-life Pepé Le Pew.

At the rate things are going, it appears Cuomo’s career in politics may soon be over.
As said on Loony Tunes, “That’s all, folks!”
