Reacting to the sexual harassment allegations engulfing Democrat Andrew Cuomo, ex-Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi described the longtime New York governor’s conduct with two aides as “horrendous behavior.” She also claimed that someone in the Cuomo orbit may have tried to tamper with witnesses in the scandal.
“Of course, he is innocent until proven guilty. As a career prosecutor, we all believe that; he is innocent until proven guilty. However, what we know by his own statement, his own statement, was that he knew one of these women was a sexual assault survivor.
“Yet he admittedly teased her about her personal life? At best, to him, it’s horrendous behavior,” Bondi told Fox & Friends host Steve Doocy.
“He was almost 30 years older than one woman, almost 40 years older than the second woman, both who worked for him. He was in a position of authority over them, and he admitted he teased them about sexual inferences, flirted with them, which is completely inappropriate at a minimum,” the pro-Trump Republican added.

Cuomo has denied sexually harassing two former aides Lindsey Boylan and Charlotte Bennett and says that he was merely making jokes and being playful.
The governor has backed off his plan to appoint what some contended was a potential crony to conduct an investigation into the matter.
He subsequently agreed to let state Attorney General Letitia James, who had rejected Cuomo’s original plan to run the probe, reportedly including the power to subpoena witnesses. Cuomo says he will cooperate in the investigation.

“Attorney General James did the right thing. That falls completely in her authority. The governor cannot choose who investigates him at all. So the right thing was ultimately done, and she will be controlling the investigation,” Bondi explained.
She also claimed that witness tampering in Cuomo’s inner circle might be in play which James might be able to get to the bottom of. “[Cuomo] said he knew people were reaching out to one or both of these victims trying to get them not to cooperate.”
Bondi expressed confidence that “someone will be charged with tampering with a witness, and they’re going to ask those witnesses was it done at the direction of Governor Cuomo.”
In addition to bipartisan calls for his resignation over the harassment allegations, Gov. Cuomo is also in hot water, including potential impeachment, for the alleged coverup of the COVID-19 death toll stemming from his catastrophic executive order sending coronavirus-infected patients into nursing homes.
The nursing home revelations came to light after far-left AG James, to her credit, released a report in January 2021 that indicated that the nursing home deaths in the state were underreported by as much as 56 percent.
In the meantime, a cringeworthy 2016 video from the New York State Fair has emerged of Cuomo challenging a female journalist to eat a whole sausage.

The reporter wrote on Twitter, however, that she didn’t feel harassed at all in the encounter.
