CNN commentator S.E. Cupp is just one of the many who make a living in the TV punditry industry signing on to collective guilt accusations or guilt by association. But ultimatums only apply when it comes to Republicans.
Corporate media journalists (which Instapundit’s Glenn Reynolds generically calls Democrat operatives with bylines) seldom, if ever, hold Democrats responsible for the many inflammatory or off-the-wall things said by members of their party.
This form of gaslighting the American people is the context of first-term U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), who has become a target for expulsion by Democrats who claim that she is a threat to other lawmakers and that she supports “sedition.” Taylor Greene should and can speak for herself about her controversial or unacceptable opinions, but that isn’t good enough for Cupp.
As soon as she started collecting a CNN paycheck, libertarian Cupp’s political views became indistinguishable from your standard-issue, Trump-hating liberal. In fairness, she’s far from the only one in the media who has completely changed political views when moving to a new workstation.
“Until and unless the party denounces and removes her, the party is @mtgreenee, and she is the party,” Cupp claimed on Twitter. She also slammed Taylor Greene for peddling various disturbing conspiracy theories.
We live in a time when a person who peddles conspiracy theories about Satanic pedophiles, staged shootings and a malign Jewish space force, wants to overturn elections, supports EXECUTING politicians, isn’t shamed or arrested, but is put on the EDUCATION Committee by Republicans.

S.E. Cupp has apparently never found it necessary, however, to hold the Democrat Party responsible for persistent allegations of anti-Semitism on the part of radical U.S. Reps. Ilhan Omar or Rashida Tlaib. Or that U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA.) pushed a fake Russia conspiracy theory during the time he was allegedly compromised by a spy from China.
Former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard recently even called out House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for incendiary remarks about “the enemy within.”

Another example: Democrat lawmakers and officials in New York State reacted harshly when they saw threatening comments posted online last week directed at Gov. Andrew Cuomo. In actuality, they were originally made by Rep. Maxine Waters who directed them at Trump administration officials.

The list goes on and on.
Cupp predictably is receiving Twitter applause from the left-wing cohort that dominates the platform. But others have noticed her selective outrage. Here is a sample:
The Democrats are defined by their worst representative, too, right? Swalwell got caught having a Chinese spy for a girlfriend- yet not a word of condemnation or disapproval from a single Democrat. Until he’s removed, the Democrats are Swalwell

Cupp really sold her soul for that fat CNN paycheck, didn’t she?
— Horton Hears a New Year (@RollCall79) January 31, 2021
Guess the Same goes for the democrats with Omar and Tlaib, correct?

The right denounces their crazies. The left embraces theirs.

We don’t hear this about Bernie, Alexandria, or the new crazy on the block, Cori. I wonder why?
— SloCobruh (@SloCobruh) January 31, 2021
As long as it’s not the party of S.E. Cupp, I’m okay with one extra crazy.
— TopJimmy, BS (@jp23mc) January 31, 2021
Great! I agree she should be removed. I assume that means Tlaib and Omar are the Democratic party until they’re removed for their antisemitism

I missed when SE went from Libertarian to tyranny loving leftist. How did that happen?
