The far-left social media platform Twitter permanently suspended President Donald Trump’s personal account, locked the president’s official government account and conducted a purge of prominent pro-Trump accounts on Friday.

The extraordinary, unprecedented, uneven move — one not applied to Iranian Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Louis Farrakhan, Richard Spencer and Chinese propagandists — provoked widespread outrage from the right and the middle.

The move also provoked the president himself into releasing a scathing statement excoriating “Democrats and the Radical Left” for their endorsement of authoritarian censorship and vowing to develop his “own platform in the near future.”

The president initially sought to release the statement through @POTUS after his personal account, @RealDonaldTrump, was suspended for reasons deemed highly dubious by centrist and right-wing critics, but Twitter prevented that as well.

“Twitter quickly removed the tweets from the @Potus account, citing its policy on banned users trying to circumvent it via other accounts,” Fox News notes.

Left with no other option, the president then resorted to releasing the statement through the White House press pool — a move which, thankfully for those concerned about freedom, cannot be stopped without a full-scale coup against him.

As I have been saying for a long time, Twitter has gone further and further in banning free speech, and tonight, Twitter employees have coordinated with the Democrats and the Radical Left in removing my account from their platform, to silence me — and YOU, the 75,000,000 great patriots who voted for me. Twitter may be a private company, but without the government’s gift of Section 230 they would not exist for long,” the statement reads.

I predicted this would happen. We have been negotiating with various other sites, and will have a big announcement soon, while we also look at the possibilities of building out our own platform in the near future. We will not be SILENCED!

The president concluded his statement by declaring that “Twitter is not about FREE SPEECH” and that their true intention is “promoting a Radical Left platform where some of the most vicious people in the world are allowed to speak freely.”

He was 100 percent right about “the most vicious people in the world” still being permitted to speak freely on the far-left social media platform.

Take Iranian Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, a vicious antisemite who’s used Twitter to call for the elimination of Israel and even directly threaten the United States.

Note the blatant threat in the latter tweet.

In banning the president from the platform, Twitter pointed to two tweets he’d posted Friday that the network suggested glorified violence.

“These two Tweets must be read in the context of broader events in the country and the ways in which the President’s statements can be mobilized by different audiences, including to incite violence, as well as in the context of the pattern of behavior from this account in recent weeks,” the company said.

“After assessing the language in these Tweets against our Glorification of Violence policy, we have determined that these Tweets are in violation of the Glorification of Violence Policy and the user @realDonaldTrump should be immediately permanently suspended from the service.”

Yet all the tweets said was that, one, the president “won’t be attending the inauguration” of President-elect Joe Biden, and two, the 75 million Americans who voted for him “will have a GIANT VOICE long into the future.”

That’s it …

Meanwhile, Twitter allowed the Chinese government to celebrate its forced sterilization and “demographic genocide” of Uygur Muslims.

“The Chinese government is taking draconian measures to slash birth rates among Uighurs and other minorities as part of a sweeping campaign to curb its Muslim population, even as it encourages some of the country’s Han majority to have more children,” the Associated Press reported this past summer.

“While individual women have spoken out before about forced birth control, the practice is far more widespread and systematic than previously known. … The campaign over the past four years in the far west region of Xinjiang is leading to what some experts are calling a form of ‘demographic genocide.'”

Not until intense backlash ensued did Twitter finally remove the tweet seen above, though of course the social media network has allowed the account to remain active, meaning it may continue to propagate horrifying propaganda.

According to the New York Post’s editorial board, the reason why genuine hate-mongers are allowed to remain on Twitter is likely because “Twitter is run by American liberals, who only really police one type of person, of one political persuasion,” i.e. American conservatives.

The president’s suspension from Twitter was followed by the purge of countless pro-Trump accounts, including those of Michael Flynn, Sidney Powell, etc.

Condemnation and warnings have emerged from the right, the middle and the sane liberal left, with only Biden/Clinton-styled leftists supporting the draconian purge — and everybody else warning that this is just the beginning.
