President Donald Trump spent a bit of Christmas Day slamming the mainstream establishment media for what he believes to be their gross mistreatment of first lady Melania Trump.

At 2:38 pm, he specifically retweeted a Breitbart News tweet about how “the elitist snobs in the fashion press have kept the most elegant First Lady in American history off the covers of their magazines for 4 consecutive years.”

The tweet was accurate in more ways than one.

View the president’s retweet below:

The truth is that, while the media have indeed shafted Melania the hardest, they’ve shafted all conservative women, including but not limited to the following:

  • White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany
  • Former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders
  • Former White House counselor Kellyanne Conway
  • Presidential advisor Ivanka Trump
  • Republican National Committee chair Ronna McDaniel
  • Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett
  • California Rep.-elect Young Kim
  • Etc.

Any woman remotely affiliated with the president has been either ignored, disparaged or both. Conversely, now that Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden is transitioning into the White House, the females linked to him are being treated like saints.

For instance, when Biden’s team announced late last month that his communications team will be led entirely by women, the media blew up with excitement.

Look:

But it was all left-wing propaganda, as demonstrated by the fact that the current White House communications team is brimming with women:

  • White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany
  • White House communications director Alyssa Farah
  • White House deputy communications director Roma Daravi
  • White House deputy press secretary Sarah Matthews
  • Press secretary for the first lady Stephanie Grisham
  • Press secretary for the second lady Kara Brooks
  • Vice presidential communications director Katie Miller

Likewise, earlier this month Maggie Haberman of The New York Times took time out of her day to praise Biden campaign manager Jen O’Malley for having kids and an intense job, describing it as “rare.” But again it was nothing but propaganda.

Observe:

Because they’re part of the Trump administration, these women apparently don’t matter. The same applies double-so with Melania, who’s not only a part of the administration but also the wife of the big bad #OrangeMan.

As a result, she’s been relentlessly tarred and feathered over everything, while simultaneously she’s been blackballed by the same fashion “experts” who’d jumped through hoops to pay homage to former first lady Michelle Obama.

In the eyes of fashionistas like Anna Wintour, women like disgraced porn star Stormy Daniels, current Democrat vice-presidential nominee Kamala Harris and first lady Obama are the only ones who deserve to be honored.

“If you’re talking about the first lady [Michelle Obama] or Senator [Kamala] Harris, obviously these are women that we feel are icons and inspiring to women from a global perspective,” she said in a CNN interview last year.

“I also feel even more strongly now that this is not a time to try — and I think one has to be fair, one has to look at all sides — but I don’t think it’s a moment not to take a stand. I think you can’t be everything to everybody and I think it’s a time that we live in a world, as you would well know, of fake news…[and] those of us that work at Conde Nast believe that you have to stand up for what you believe in and you have to take a point of view.”

In other words, she felt compelled to stand up against the #OrangeMan by ignoring Melania, despite Melania being a former model. And she wasn’t the only one.

“Trump fans have long noticed and lamented the absence of the First Lady from US newsstands, and often accused the US press of revealing their liberal bias by granting Michelle Obama, the wife of former president Barack Obama, 12 magazine covers in her two terms as First Lady, including three Vogue covers,” Business Insider notes.

How many magazine covers has Melania received? Reportedly zero.
