Records show that Hunter Biden sent an email in 2017 requesting money from the chairman of a since-defunct, Communist Party-linked Chinese conglomerate that went bankrupt this year after its chair was exposed as having allegedly committed a series of “economic crimes.”
An email obtained by Fox News specifically shows that on June 18th, 2017, Hunter asked CEFC China Energy executive Zhao Runlong to “translate” a letter he’d penned for the company’s chair, obscure Chinese tycoon and suspected crook Ye Jianming.
The actual letter to Ye, dated June 17th, begins as follows: “I hope my letter finds you well. I regret missing you on your last visit to the United States. Please accept the best wishes from the entire Biden family as well as my partners. We are all hoping to see you here again soon, or in Shanghai.”
Hunter then reportedly wrote to Ye that he had “concluded the establishment of SinoHawk Holdings,” a joint venture with CEFC and that he was looking “forward” to introducing Ye to the new venture’s CEO, Tony Bobulinski.
As in THE Tony Bobulinski:

“He is a very close friend of James Gilliar and the Biden family and joined our team to focus on the execution of things as a partner. He has invested capital all over the world for some of the world’s wealthiest families,” Hunter continued.
He added that Bobulinski had reached out to Asian financier Dong Gongwen and CEFC China Energy director Zang Jianjun for $10 million in funding (“$10 MM USD wire“) and shared his hope that Ye could help expedite the transfer of the funds.
“I would appreciate if you will send that quickly so we can properly fund and operate Sinohawk,” he wrote.
“I am sure you have been well briefed by our dear friend Director Zang on the political and economic connections we have established in countries where you are interested in expanding during the coming months and years. I look forward to our next meeting.”
According to Fox, Ye replied a month later with an affirmative.
“I am glad to hear from you! Time flies and it has been months since we met in the US. It seems that we were always on a rush when we were together,” Ye wrote.
He added that “the consensus we made last time has been materialized in a timely manner” and recommended Hunter to “arrange your people to coordinate with Director Zang and Gongwen Dong for specific work.”
“I will continue to pay attention and give my support. I have arranged Director Zang and Gongwen Dong to expedite the charter capital input to SinoHawk. I look forward to meeting you in the near future and discussing our joint undertaking. If there is anything I could do please do not hesitate to write to me. Please accept my best regards to you and your family,” he concluded.
CEFC China Energy eventually went bankrupt this year.
“CEFC China Energy Co. Ltd., the fallen energy and financial conglomerate controlled by secretive tycoon Ye Jianming, has been declared bankrupt by a Shanghai court,” the Chinese media group Caixin reported in April.
“CEFC China is one of the private Chinese conglomerates that spent several years amassing sprawling assets abroad through debt-backed investments. But the company has been under regulatory and financial pressure since founder Ye was placed under investigation on suspicion of economic crimes in 2018.”
The New York Times reported in 2018 that Ye’s goal had been to obtain “access to the corridors of power in Washington” by “court[ing] the Biden family.”
It’s not clear whether the plan succeeded.
In 2017 Reuters confirmed that CEFC “has layers of Communist Party committees across its subsidiaries – more than at many private Chinese companies.”
What’s also known is that Hunter is a longtime drug addict with an alleged habit of blowing money on frivolous activities.
“Hunter Biden met and married Kathleen Buhle in 1993. The two divorced in 2017 after a 22-year marriage that produced three daughters. In divorce papers, Kathleen accused her ex of blowing family funds on drugs and prostitutes,” the New York Post notes.
Two months ago videos emerged showing Hunter smoking crack and engaging in sex acts with an unidentified woman who was believed to be a hooker.

What’s also known is that Hunter has been under investigation by multiple parties — including the U.S. Senate — because of “criminal, financial, counterintelligence and extortion” concerns, as the Senate put it in a recent report.
“The records acquired by the Committees show consistent, significant and extensive financial connections among and between Hunter Biden, James Biden, Sara Biden, Devon Archer, and Chinese nationals connected to the Communist regime and PLA as well as other foreign nationals with questionable backgrounds,” the report reads.
“These connections and the vast amount of money transferred among and between them don’t just raise conflicts of interest concerns, they raise criminal financial, counterintelligence and extortion concerns. The Committees will continue to evaluate the evidence in their possession.”

Combined, all the evidence points to Hunter being a drug addict who’s spent all of his adult life using his family name to gallivant around the world earning money like a veritable crook and fund his lavish, gangster-like lifestyle.
In an op-ed for Newsweek this week, Sen. Tom Cotton and Rep. Ken Buck wrote that all the evidence is enough to justify assigning a special counsel to more closely scrutinize Hunter’s actions.
They argued that investigating Hunter is important because “it concerns Joe Biden’s willingness to let his family trade on his name, even at the risk of damaging America’s national security interests.”
“As vice president, Joe allowed Hunter to accompany him on taxpayer-funded trips around the world, even though Hunter had no official business on behalf of the U.S. government. It was on these trips that Hunter signed deals with companies connected to the Chinese Communist Party.”
The op-ed was published two days after the Electoral College voted to elevate Hunter’s father, Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden, to the role of U.S. president.
