With 17 days to spare in the year 2020, President Donald Trump delivered a miracle on Monday.
Just ask MSNBC senior producer Kyle Griffin, one of the network’s resident Trump-hating zealots, who set the stage for the prodigious event back in May.
Taking to social media to engage in a little electioneering on behalf of the Democratic Party, Griffin endeavored to dampen any possibilities of a hopeful electorate ahead of the November election.
Linking to an NBC News article, he tweeted: “NBC Fact check: Coronavirus vaccine could come this year, Trump says. Experts say he needs a ‘miracle’ to be right.”

Citing the usual “expert” suspects, the article proclaimed that “the development, testing, and production of a vaccine for the public is still at least 12 to 18 months off, and that anything less would be a medical miracle.”
Dr. Paul Offit, a professor at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and the director of the Vaccine Education Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, provided the prerequisite sound bite.
“I think it’s possible you could see a vaccine in people’s arms next year — by the middle or end of next year. But this is unprecedented, so it’s hard to predict,” Offit said.
So much for his expert status, because on Monday, Sandra Lindsay, a nurse in New York, became the first person in the state to receive the first of two doses of the new COVID19 vaccine.

Even Dr. Anthony Fauci said January 2021 would be the earliest a vaccine could be ready, as seen during an appearance earlier this year on the Today show.
The media fave said that the timeline was “aspirational,” and depended on companies producing a vaccine before researchers are sure it will work, the network reported.
President Donald Trump, whose Operation Warp Speed resulted in the production of a vaccine in record time, took to Twitter around the time Lindsay received her vaccine.
“First Vaccine Administered. Congratulations USA! Congratulations WORLD!” the president tweeted.

Back to Griffin, his May 2020 tweet should serve as a monument to mark the death of liberal fact-checkers in America — the irony of the wholly corrupt media establishment anointing themselves the arbitrators of what is or is not true is off the charts.
Speaking of corrupt, note this March 2020 tweet from CNN primadonna reporter Jim Acosta:
Since Monday, Dr. Fauci has publicly explained in front of Trump three times now that it will take a year or more to develop a Coronavirus vaccine. pic.twitter.com/3HFBccFm0k

Social media was only too happy to remind Griffin of just how gloriously wrong he was.
Here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter:
“Fact checking” predictions isn’t a fact check, but the frauds at NBC news knew that and didn’t care
Also, looks like they have to admit Trump is a miracle worker now https://t.co/2LF7XYKvGW

Another great example of why we need to burn down the fact check industry entirely.
You can’t “fact check” a promise with someone else’s opinion, even if it’s an educated one.
Guessing this “fact check” won’t get the fact check it deserves. https://t.co/mKKTbhmQmm
