Fmr NYC police commish Bernard Kerik calls out ‘spineless disloyal maggots’ who betrayed Trump

You can count former New York Police Department commissioner Bernard Kerik among those on the right who’re desperate to #StopTheSteal.

In a series of tweets posted Saturday, the outspoken law enforcement veteran joined other #StopTheSteal advocates in excoriating establishment Republicans for promoting themselves instead of fighting for President Donald Trump.

He first took aim at House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy for celebrating the racial progress that’s occurred in America thanks to Republicans, not Democrats.

“The Republican Party is the Party of Lincoln, grounded in the values of freedom and equality for all people,” McCarthy had tweeted early Saturday morning.

“150 years ago today, the first Black American was sworn into Congress—a Republican named Joseph Rainey from @SenatorTimScott’s home of South Carolina.”

The tweet annoyed Kerik, who responded by accusing McCarthy of wasting his time and demanding he instead focus on helping the president in his legal battles.

But Kerik was just getting started.

Over the course of the next few hours — and leading up to late Saturday evening and early Sunday morning — the former NYPD commissioner kept pummeling all the “spineless disloyal maggots” whom he says have “betrayed” the president.

Kerik is clearly among the 68 percent of Republicans, 26 percent of Independents and 10 percent of Democrats who believe the 2020 presidential election was stolen from the president via voter fraud and impropriety.

He’s also clearly among those who’ve opted to take out their anger over the president’s failed legal challenges on not only the “state legislators” whom he claims aren’t doing “their jobs” but also on congressional Republicans who aren’t turning up the heat.

Speaking on radio station WABC’s “Bernie and Sid in the Morning Show” on Friday, he was particularly enraged over the shenanigans in Georgia, where video evidence has confirmed for a fact that ballots were counted for an hour without any supervision.

“I need to know how Georgia Lt. Gov. Jeff Duncan … can watch a tape in which there’s 100 percent irrefutable evidence that there was election fraud that occurred in Atlanta, Georgia, where 24,000 votes as a minimum were scanned in the middle of the night,” he said.

“It’s illegal, it’s against state law and federal law, yet you’re going to certify that state’s election, and Donald Trump only lost by 12,000 votes? How does somebody do that?”

He added that officials such as Duncan, who’s a Republican, who certify their states in the face of such alleged fraud “should be impeached.”

He also preemptively blamed the president ultimately losing the election on Republicans — all of them.

“I have to say this, and I hate saying this, but I’m going to tell you something: Time is against us, so is the spineless, coward Republicans that are in the legislatures around the country that don’t have the courage to stand up and do what they’re suppose to do by law,” he said.

“And if they certify their states in which they know there’s irrefutable evidence of voter and election fraud, they should not, can not, are not supposed to certify those states, I don’t get it. Time may kill us, but I think the Republican party — if Donald Trump loses this election, it was the Republican Party that did it.”

This isn’t just a single man’s perception — it’s one shared by many. It’s also one responsible for a growing sentiment among hardcore Trump supporters that the Republican Party in its current form deserves to be abandoned or destroyed.
