A former aide of New York. Gov Andrew Cuomo who worked as his deputy secretary for economic development and as his special advisor from March 2015 to October 2018 has accused him of sexually harassing her “for years.”
Like brother, like brother …
In a shocking Twitter thread posted Sunday morning, former Cuomo aide Lindsey Boylan bluntly wrote, “Yes, @NYGovCuomo sexually harassed me for years.”
She added, “I hate that some men, like @NYGovCuomo abuse their power.”

My first experience of workplace sexual harassment was when my mom got her first real office job after graduating from college when I was in high school.
She was so excited to be taken “seriously.” Her bossed isolated her and kissed her. She never had that type of job again.

It was then how I learned how hard it is for women. How hard this world can be for us when we are trying to be taken seriously and help our community. How easily jerks can destroy the lives of women.
— Lindsey Boylan (@LindseyBoylan) December 13, 2020
And I promised myself I would never let those kind of guys win. I would work hard my whole life to put myself in positions of power to change things. To end the violence & corruption. Give voice to the voiceless.
I am not stopping. I refuse. I will never give up.

Yes, @NYGovCuomo sexually harassed me for years. Many saw it, and watched.
I could never anticipate what to expect: would I be grilled on my work (which was very good) or harassed about my looks. Or would it be both in the same conversation? This was the way for years.
— Lindsey Boylan (@LindseyBoylan) December 13, 2020
Not knowing what to expect what’s the most upsetting part aside from knowing that no one would do a damn thing even when they saw it.
No one.
And I *know* I am not the only woman.
— Lindsey Boylan (@LindseyBoylan) December 13, 2020
I’m angry to be put in this situation at all. That because I am a woman, I can work hard my whole life to better myself and help others and yet still fall victim as countless women over generations have. Mostly silently.
I hate that some men, like @NYGovCuomo abuse their power.
— Lindsey Boylan (@LindseyBoylan) December 13, 2020
The thread was a follow-up to another thread she’d posted the previous weekend in which she’d accused Cuomo of having hosted a “toxic” work environment and further claimed his underlings had been and still are “deathly afraid” of him.
“I’ve had many jobs. Waitressing at @Friendlys as a teenager was an infinitely more respectful environment. Even when I had bad customers who tipped poorly. If people weren’t deathly afraid of him, they’d be saying the same thing and you’d already know the stories,” she wrote.
The tweets were posted in response to photographer Jerry Avenaim asking people to “Name the worst job you’ve ever had.”
Most toxic team environment? Working for @NYGovCuomo. https://t.co/mtM1VYXxSH

Of all the responses his tweet generated, Boylan’s response garnered the most attention, with Inside Edition, Newsweek, Fox News, the New York Post, the Daily Caller all running reports on it.
Predictably, CNN, The Washington Post, The New York Times and other demonstrably far-left media outlets ignored the tweets — and despite all three networks purporting to be champions for women and the oppressed.
But as their reporting record clearly indicates, they’re only champions for women when being champions for women is politically convenient for them.

Boylan’s LinkedIn profile shows that she worked for the governor from 2015 to 2018, after which she declared her candidacy for office and made an attempt to unseat Rep. Jerry Nadler. That attempt fell by the wayside when she lost NY’s primary in June. She’s now running in the 2021 election for Manhattan borough president.
It’s not clear what motivated her to reveal more about her experiences working for Cuomo and talk specifically about the alleged sexual harassment she’d endured.
In a follow-up tweet posted later Sunday morning, she said she has “no interest in talking to journalists” and is only focused on “validating the experience of countless women and making sure abuse stops.”
Of course, for her to achieve this, so-called “journalists” will actually have to cover her story — and do so fairly and objectively.
Will they, though? Some of Boylan’s supporters don’t appear to think so.

Im sorry for you. He’s on the left and the media loves him. He’s safe, nothing will happen to him.

Unfortunately, the corrupt media won’t run your story. Without unbiased media, victims will continue to remain silent and perpetrators will continue to be enabled.

Sadly this won’t get any coverage in the media. I think we all know why.
— Amanda Corsin (@amandaaaaaz) December 13, 2020
No woman should have to endure this—however, a big reason that guys like Cuomo get away with it is because the media cover for them. They active suppress any story that might be damaging to Democrats, which makes those abusers free to be their worst selves.

To hear the media tell it, Cuomo is a saint whose coronavirus policies haven’t killed the elderly and wrecked New York’s economy.
But as it typical for virtually everything claimed by the establishment media, reality looks far different:
