A Fox News poll published Friday found that 68 percent of Republicans believe the 2020 presidential election was stolen from President Donald Trump, and a larger 77 percent of Trump supporters believe he’s the election’s rightful winner.
Amazingly, the poll found that even 10 percent of Democrats and 26 percent of Independents believe the election was stolen.
Yet oddly enough, a 56 percent majority of voters also believe the president’s legal challenges of the declared 2020 elections are “weakening American democracy.”
The poll was reportedly conducted between Dec. 6th and Dec. 9th, and it involved “1,007 randomly chosen registered voters nationwide,” according to Fox.
The results seem to suggest that Fox News’ Charles Hurt had it right when he predicted Friday that, despite the Supreme Court rejecting Texas’s bombshell lawsuit, the battle over the 2020 election results is far from over.
“Certainly, this case was the best, biggest case that the president was holding out hope for. And, you know, it ends this legal wrangling of this case. But, it doesn’t end the political wrangling of this case,” he said on Fox News’ “Special Report.”
“And the president still has a lot of political room, and he will continue to make the argument that there were real problems with this election.”
Hurt explained that even with the court rulings against him, the president’s points about the potential for fraud and impropriety in the election remain valid.
As an example, he pointed to Democrats “exploiting the pandemic to start this mass mail-in voting drive, which raises lots of concerns, and I think probably caused a lot more opportunities for fraud in the election than in a regular election.”

The president himself reiterated in a tweet Saturday morning that indeed the fight is far from over, writing, “WE HAVE JUST BEGUN TO FIGHT!!!”

He also doubled down on his claim — one shared by 68 percent of Republicans, 26 percent of Independents and 10 percent of Democrats — that he’s the rightful winner of the 2020 presidential election, not Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden.

Left-wing media outlets and left-wing propaganda outfits (NewsGuard, Media Matters, Sleeping Giants, etc.) have all claimed that there’s zero merit to the president’s allegations of voter fraud and impropriety, despite there being valid, provable instances of actual voter fraud and impropriety.
Their strategy revolves around using clever wordplay and claiming, as NewsGuard does, that “there is no evidence that there was substantial voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election.” But who gets to define the meaning of “substantial?”

Leftist organizations have also chosen to ignore issues pertaining to impropriety. In Pennsylvania, for instance, after the state legislature passed a law last year that granted state residents the right to request an absentee ballot without providing a legitimate reason, added provisions were affixed to it without the legislature’s permission.
“Unfortunately, since that legislative enactment, other actors have used
COVID-19 as a pretext to eviscerate the election integrity provisions of the
Commonwealth’s Election Code, such that the administration of the 2020 General
Election bore no resemblance to the carefully considered procedures enacted by the
General Assembly,” Pennsylvania House Speaker Bryan Cutler and Majority Leader Kerry Benninghoff explained in an amicus brief submitted earlier this week.
While these points and allegations have thus far failed to legally prove that Trump is the rightful winner of the 2020 election, they do nevertheless raise legitimate concerns that those with intellectual integrity would want to at least examine.
Yet the left’s adamant position that “there is no evidence that there was substantial voter fraud” has convinced a growing number of social media networks and platforms into censoring anyone who dares even broach these topics with curiosity.
On Wednesday, for instance, the monopolistic video-sharing platform YouTube announced that it’ll begin censoring anyone who alleges that “widespread fraud or errors” affected the 2020 presidential election and prevented Trump from winning.

According to another poll from this week — this one from Quinnipiac — 77 percent of Republicans, 35 percent of Independents and 3 percent of Democrats believe the 2020 election was affected by widespread fraud.
But thanks to the dictates of left-wing authoritarians and propagandists, it appears that this significantly sized chunk of the U.S. population is no longer allowed to speak freely of their concerns.
Writing about YouTube’s ban for this blog this Friday, Rolling Stone editor Matt Taibbi opined, “The YouTube Ban Is Un-American, Wrong, and Will Backfire.”
