Sidney Powell says witnesses need protections over threats, claims one ‘beaten up’ and hospitalized

Attorney Sidney Powell told Fox News’ Sean Hannity Monday that she knows of at least one witness to alleged election fraud that has been beaten up and hospitalized, though she didn’t elaborate.

Powell, a former federal prosecutor who has filed two major lawsuits challenging election results in Georgia and Michigan, made the statement as part of a larger discussion about witnesses she knows of who cannot come forward and sign affidavits attesting to alleged vote fraud.

Hannity made reference to an interview earlier Monday with Powell on his national radio program in which she said that some people were “watching an internet connection in real-time” but they can’t speak publicly or provide her with affidavits attesting to it, before asking her why.

“There are a number of reasons,” Powell responded. “Some are within the government and some are, possibly, in different roles that require confidentiality and they’re not in a position to where they can come forward without certain protections in place.”

“That’s something the government really needs to give them if they want to get to the truth of all the matters with which we’re gathering more evidence every day,” she added.

Hannity responded by saying that no one will be able to hear from those alleged witnesses unless or until they are provided legal cover. He then asked Powell if anyone has been allowed to forensically examine any voting machines used in states where results indicated that Democrat Joe Biden won.

“We’ve only been allowed access to a view of them,” Powell said, adding that her co-counsel from the Michael Flynn case managed on Monday, to win a discovery order from a court in Nevada to examine machines in that state.

“They will be collecting a lot more evidence from Nevada where there was massive corruption,” Powell continued before repeating earlier claims of having vote fraud evidence “from countless districts” around the country.

“The machine ran an algorithm that shaved votes from Trump and awarded them to Biden. They used the machines to trash large batches of votes that should have been awarded to President Trump. And they used the machines to inject and add mass quantities of votes for Mr. Biden,” she said.

“I thought Democrats told us they like whistleblowers,” Hannity responded. “You’re saying these people can’t talk because they’re gonna lose their job. I would think that they’d get protection.”

“They’re going to lose their job, their lives have been threatened,” said Powell. “One witness we know of got beaten up and is in the hospital. There have been all kinds of repercussions against people who have come forward to tell the truth.”

“And no, Democrats don’t like whistleblowers. They only like liars who claim they’re whistleblowers,” she added.

Hannity responded by saying that if there are witnesses to election fraud then the country should be able to hear from them “at some point.”

“If everybody disagrees that the voting system is not the best…from everybody, the media, Democrats and Republicans…now we have to ask, ‘Why did we use ‘em?’” he said.
