Fox News weather anchor Janice Dean, whose in-laws died from the coronavirus while housed in New York’s nursing homes, has had it with the “pathetic” rhetoric of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, his administration and his media sycophants.

In a Twitter tirade Saturday, the outspoken Fox contributor slammed all three for their “pearl-clutching” over otherwise completely benign remarks President Donald Trump had made earlier in the week about his administration’s vaccine rollout plans.

Speaking from the Rose Garden on Friday, the president said his administration intends to make an upcoming coronavirus vaccine “available to the entire general population with the exception of places like New York,” or at least for the time being.

“As soon as April, the vaccine will be available to the entire general population with the exception of places like New York state where for political reasons the governor decided to say — I don’t think it’s good politically, I think it’s bad from a health standpoint, but he wants to take his time on the vaccine and he doesn’t trust where the vaccine is coming from,” the president said.

Why not places like New York? Because last month Cuomo explicitly said that he didn’t trust a Trump administration vaccine and would rather his “own group of doctors and medical experts” review it before it’s distributed to New York residents.

In response to the president confirming that he’ll hold off on giving New York residents the vaccine for now, Cuomo’s media sycophants and New York Attorney General Letitia James pounced.

The premise set forth in every tweet above is a lie. So is the premise that was peddled by the governor himself during an appearance Friday on MSNBC.

“None of what he said is true,” he said of the president’s remarks.

“We’re all excited about the possibilities about a vaccine. It’s not that people don’t trust the vaccine companies, the pharmaceutical companies … . But an overwhelming percentage of Americans are worried about political interference in the vaccination process and the approval process by the president,” he continued.

“The American people trust the drug company more than they trust the president. … So a number of states, New York included, to try to build credibility so people will actually accept the vaccine, put together their own scientific review panels … who will review the FDA process so we can say to people it is safe, you can take the vaccine.”

And that’s exactly why the president isn’t sending New York the vaccine yet …

Cuomo then blamed the president’s otherwise non-controversial remarks on his purported hatred for New York and its policies.

“The president likes to point out New York because it’s been an ongoing issue. The president lost New York State in the election by a huge margin. You have New York prosecutors who are investigating the president for tax fraud. So he has issues with New York and he likes to point to New York,” the governor said.

He added, “Everything is personal with this President. There can’t be a disagreement on principle and he retaliates. He uses the government as a retaliatory tool. That’s what he does. He’s also a bully.”

Janice Dean disagrees — vehemently so. In the Twitter tirade mentioned earlier, she noted the stunning disingenuousness of this pseudo scandal and the rhetoric it’s engendered from the likes of Cuomo, James and their media enablers.

She called it “pathetic,” though others might say it’s simply typical. From the day Trump declared his candidacy in 2015, both Democrats and their media allies have distorted virtually every single word that’s come out of his mouth.

It’s always the same shtick. They claim he said something that he didn’t, then they slam him for saying something that he didn’t and then they pat themselves on the back for standing up to the “orange dictator” and being part of the so-called #Resistance.

Perhaps it is “pathetic” after all?
