If the 2020 election teaches us anything, it may be that post-Obama America is no longer the country Baby Boomers grew up in — but then, the far left’s domination of media, education, pop culture and the entertainment industry has a tendency to do things like that.

Look no further than the election Tuesday of an activist from the oft-violent Black Lives Matter movement to Congress, coming in the very district where 77-year-old former police chief David Dorn was gunned down during the recent George Floyd riots.

Cori Bush, who was “heavily involved” in the Floyd protests, according to Fox News,  became the state’s first black congresswoman, winning “a whopping” 84% of the vote in the state’s 1st Congressional District.

Her district represents Ferguson, where Michael Brown was shot and killed while violently attacking a police officer who was forced to defend his life, according to a Eric Holder-led Department of Justice — this being ground zero of a movement that terrorized the nation for nearly a year over the proven lie, “Hands up, don’t shoot.”

A lie that became a national cry as the left created a deep racial divide in America. A lie today’s low-information youth still chant when protesting the latest media-driven race narrative.

Bush, who is also a nurse, touted her involvement in the burning of Ferguson while celebrating her victory, falsely declaring that Brown was “murdered.”

“Mike Brown was murdered 2,278 days ago,” she said in a tweet. “We took to the streets for more than 400 days in protest. Today, we take this fight for Black Lives from the streets of Ferguson to the halls of Congress. We will get justice.”

The only person denied justice in the Michael Brown shooting was the officer who saw his life destroyed for protecting himself against an assailant who outweighed him by a hundred pounds.

In another tweet, Bush compared herself to Shirley Chisholm, the first black woman elected to Congress 52 years ago, while managing to complain: “Today, I became the first black woman elected to represent Missouri in Congress. It’s 2020. I shouldn’t be the first, but I am honored to carry this responsibility.”

“This is definitely a night to remember,” Bush said upon winning. “This has been a historic day from the beginning to the end.”

Indeed it is.

Bush was backed by the same radical left Justice Democrats that elected democratic socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Fox News reported — she’s now set to join “the squad” of radical Democratic lawmakers.
