Democrat vice-presidential nominee Kamala Harris’s open, blatant endorsement of Marxist ideology is not sitting well with mixed martial artist and Ultimate Fighting Championship competitor Jorge Masvidal.
The son of a Cuban defector, Masvidal grew frustrated when Harris published a Communist-themed ad about the difference between equality and so-called “equity.”
In the ad, Harris contrasted equal treatment — which involves everybody receiving fair and equal treatment — with equitable treatment, which involves resources being redistributed so that everybody “start[s] in the same place.”
“There’s a big difference between equality and equity. Equality suggests, ‘Oh, everyone should get the same amount.’ The problem with that, not everybody’s starting in the same place,” she said in the disturbing 50-second advertisement.

Responding to the ad late Sunday evening, Masvidal wrote that the message Harris was peddling had been plucked straight from the “The Communist Manifesto” written by the fathers of Marxism, Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels.

This complaint was shared by others.
Sounds just like Karl Marx.
A century of history has shown where that path leads.
We all embrace equal opportunity, but government-enforced equality of outcomes is Marxism. https://t.co/76GRFhl34X

The false promise of the left, in 1 minute. Start out with a well-intentioned point on equality of opportunity, only to end it with the true Marxist intent: equity in outcomes.
They leave out the part where equity must be enforced with unequal -and tyrannical- treatment. https://t.co/Hflv16okCo

I’ll save you all time, she’s a communist. They always make it look and sound pretty, fair, unthreatening and utopian but in reality it’s always ugly, unfair, full of threats and dystopian. Venezuelans & Cubans have seen this movie before and are warning you it doesn’t end well.

There really is not an anti-Marxist way to read that @KamalaHarris Tweet.

They were all 100 percent right.
Writing for Reason magazine, Robby Soave offers a reason why.
“A government should be obligated to treat all citizens equally, giving them the same access to civil rights and liberties like voting, marriage, religious freedom, and gun ownership. The government cannot deny rights to certain people because they are black, female, Muslim, etc.—this would be unequal treatment,” he noted.
“A mandate to foster equity, though, would give the government power to violate these rights in order to achieve identical social results for all people. In accordance with this thinking, the authorities might be justified in giving some people more rights than others. Indeed, this would arguably be strictly necessary, in order to create a society where everyone ends up in the exact same situation.”
In other words, to foster equity, you must implement an authoritarian Communist government, period, because there’s no other way to redistribute resources and rights.
This is exactly why Masvidal is such a staunch Trump supporter who’s hoping for and confident in seeing a “red wave” this Election Day — or at least in Florida.
“It’s a red wave here. It’s getting hotter and hotter. The red wave is a real thing,” he said Monday evening while describing the situation on the ground in the Sunshine State.
“People waited for four hours yesterday for a rally, and about 25,000 individuals were there. If that doesn’t tell you something, I don’t know what to tell you.”
The remarks were made to host Laura Ingraham of Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle.”
“We have a great time. … (T)he live music was playing, water bottles were being handed out. People were sweating, dancing waiting for a president to come and just give some words of wisdom and encouragement. It was a ball,” he added.
Masvidal is one of many Florida Latinos who’re siding with President Donald Trump over Democrat nominee Joe Biden over Biden and Harris’s flirtation with Communism.
Like Mariela Jiménez, a Florida woman, told members of the press two months ago, “Kamala Harris represents communism and socialism.”
Was Jiménez lying? Clearly not …

The president has also accused Harris of being a Communist.
“I thought that wasn’t even a contest last night. She was terrible. I don’t think you can get worse. And totally unlikeable. And she is. She’s a communist. She’s left of Bernie. She’s rated left of Bernie by everybody. She’s a communist,” he said after the 2020 vice-presidential debate last month.
The remarks were made during a phone interview on Fox Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria.”

Was he wrong? Again, it doesn’t seem like it …
