Miles Taylor, the seedy former Department of Homeland Security policy advisor who’s outed himself as the writer of the deceptive anti-Trump op-ed that was published in 2018 by The New York Times, is a liar — perhaps even a pathological one.

And naturally, he works for CNN

A year after Taylor penned the then-anonymous piece for the Times, he left the Trump administration (or was booted out, according to the administration itself) and eventually landed at CNN (no surprise).

Once established at the network, he began telling lies.

When he was questioned by host Anderson Cooper this past summer, he denied being the author of the Times’ anonymous piece.

Listen:

He was clearly lying.

When he was questioned about the matter again — this time by host John Berman — he added that he’s a “lifelong Republican.”

Listen:

He was lying yet again. Records prove that he and his wife donated to then-Democrat presidential nominee Barack Hussein Obama in 2008. Lifelong Republicans don’t donate to Democrats.

Look:

His lies were so big that CNN host Chris Cuomo, a notorious liar himself, called Taylor out to his face during a discussion between the pair Wednesday night.

“[Y]ou lied to us, Miles. You were asked in August if you were ‘anonymous’ here on CNN with Anderson Cooper, and you said ‘no.’ Now, why should CNN keep you on the payroll after lying like that?” he asked.

In response, the formerly anonymous liar claimed that he wanted to remain anonymous to “deprive” the president of the opportunity to issue personal attacks against him and force him to respond to his complaints “on their merits.”

“And I’ll tell you what happened, Chris. The end result is the president couldn’t. He failed to deny what was in that book,” Taylor argued, referencing an anti-Trump book he published in 2019 under the pseudonym anonymous.

“And, in fact, to this day, the White House has failed to challenge the narratives that were in that book or the narratives that I have explained in my own name, over the past four months, speaking out against the President.”

Taylor added, “So, when asked by Anderson, whether I was “Anonymous,” during that time period, I said what I was going to do. I temporarily denied it. But I’ve always said I would ultimately come out under my own name.”

He then proceeded to admit that he owes Cooper and “other reporters” whom he’d lied to “a beer.”

Cuomo responded to his spiel by pointing out that, regardless of his reasoning, now that he’s been proven to be a liar, he’ll always be a liar in some people’s eyes.

But you know what the problem is with you having lied is that now you are a liar, and people will be slow to believe you, when you lied about something as important as whether or not you wanted to own this,” he said.

Listen to the discussion below:

A plethora of voices on the right, including White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, have seized on Taylor’s lies to blast not only him but also the so-called “journalists” who’d amplified his now dubious allegations.

“President Trump is focused on leading the great American comeback and keeping his promises to the American people. This low-level, disgruntled former staffer is a liar and a coward who chose anonymity over action and leaking over leading. He was ineffective and incompetent during his time as DHS Chief of Staff which is why he was promptly fired after only serving in this role for a matter of weeks,” McEnany said in a statement Wednesday.

“It is appalling a low-ranking official would be granted anonymity and it is clear the New York Times is doing the bidding of Never-Trumpers and Democrats. The American people elected President Trump to carry out his vision for the country, not an arrogant deep state operative trying to put their agenda ahead of the President’s America First policies.”

She later reiterated the same message on Twitter:

Ironically, Taylor is also facing backlash from the left, because it turns out that as a policy advisor at DHS, he’d helped craft some of the very policies the left abhors.

Look:

When you try to play both sides, chances are you’ll wind up having everybody hate you and blast you as a liar, including even Chris Cuomo …
