Megyn Kelly clapped back at actress Patricia Arquette after she took a jab at the former Fox News host for her assessment of President Donald Trump’s Thursday debate performance versus Joe Biden.
Kelly wrote that in her view, the president outdid the former vice president in a way that “definitely helped him.”
“Trump won this debate, handily. Biden wasn’t a force at all. Trump was substantive, on-point, well-tempered. Definitely helped himself, when it mattered most,” Kelly wrote on Twitter Thursday evening.

“Do you have windmill cancer? I’m getting concerned,” Arquette responded, referencing a joke that the president made during an April 2019 speech at the National Republican Congressional Committee dinner.
Critics of the president falsely said he made the claim when he clearly didn’t.
“If you have a windmill anywhere near your house, congratulations your house just went down 75 percent in value. You know they say the noise causes cancer,” the president said.
In response to Arquette, who frequently blasts the president, Kelly wrote: “Nah, just don’t suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome and can still engage in fair analysis. You wouldn’t understand.”

During the Golden Globes Award Show in January, Arquette ripped the president for ordering an airstrike in Iraq that killed Iran’s top general, Qassem Soleimani, the Revolutionary Guards leader blamed for hundreds of U.S. military deaths. Also, Soleimani was, according to U.S. intelligence, “actively developing plans to attack” Americans at the time.
“I’m so grateful to be here and celebrate this but also I know tonight, January 5th, 2020, we’re not going to look back on this night in the history books. We will see a country on the brink of war, the United States of America,” Arquette, who starred in NBC’s “Medium” series, said.
“A president tweeting out a threat of 52 bombs including cultural sites, young people risking their lives traveling across the world, people not knowing if bombs are going to drop on their kids’ heads. And the continent of Australia is on fire,” she said.
Earlier in the day, Arquette tweeted, “Donald Trump is a threat to mankind his continuance in office puts lives at risk.”

In recent months, however, it’s been the Trump administration that has brought more peace to the tumultuous Middle East with a series of peace deals between Israel and surrounding Arab and Muslim countries including Bahrain, Sudan and the United Arab Emirates as part of the Abraham Accords.
In addition, the administration announced a historic peace deal between Serbia and Kosovo, a region of the world that fought two bloody wars after the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the breakup of Yugoslavia, then part of the USSR.
As for Kelly, the podcast star was ripped again earlier this month by Refinery29 for being a “partisan political analyst.”
“Or, just not in the tank for Biden and able to report fairly on both sides,” she wrote on Twitter in response to a hit piece by the outlet accusing her of being “for Trump.”
Kelly also criticized Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), Biden’s running mate, for smirking and making other faces at Vice President Mike Pence during their Oct. 7 debate.
“Take it like a woman. Don’t make faces,” Kelly wrote.
