Dressed in what might be the tiniest bikini on Earth, on Friday model, singer and actress Courtney Stodden implored the American people to vote.

Nothing too peculiar about that, right? Except Stodden did so while wearing both the bikini AND a face mask of the one and only President Donald J. Trump.

Say what!?

Make sure you get out and VOTE!!! #vote #halloween

A post shared by Courtney Stodden (@courtneyastodden) on

“Make sure you get out and VOTE!!! #vote #halloween,” she wrote as the post’s caption.

But for whom? That, dear Watson, is the question …

It’s quite difficult to tell because Stodden’s political history is confusing. On one hand, she praised President Donald Trump in 2017 for recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. But on the other, in those same remarks she admitted she was a liberal.

“You know what? I’m a liberal, but I think it’s awesome. Like, I am in total support of that. I’m not a huge Donald fan, by all means, but I have Christian roots, and I just love that he did that,” she said at the time.

Watch:

Hmm.

Now fast-forward to this past June, when she faced off with a group of Trump supporters who’d been protesting alongside a road in Los Angeles.

“Courtney shared a video on Instagram where she was a passenger in a car driving by an array of Trump supporters who carried MAGA signs while waving American flags,” Celebrity Insider reported at the time.

“Courtney stuck her head out the window and yelled at them that Black Lives Matter. She then took the video and shared it on Instagram using the hashtags ‘Black Lives Matter,’ ‘BLM,’ and ‘F*CK Trump.'”

That seems pretty telling, right? Except the video has since been deleted. Why? Perhaps she felt regret over posting such vitriolic rhetoric about the president?

Now flashback to 2017 again. For Halloween that year, she dressed up as first lady Melania Trump and then posted a video effectively mocking her and her accent.

This video has also since been deleted, though a copy may be seen below:

Returning to 2020, earlier this year Stodden unleashed fury at fellow model/actress Chrissy Teigen, a notorious anti-Trump zealot who’s nine years her senior.

In a five-minute video posted to Instagram, she spoke of the memoir she’d been writing and said it’d inspired her to reflect on the harsh treatment she’d endured growing up. Included among the perpetrators of that bullying, she added, was Teigen.

“This video is definitely calling out Chrissy Teigen,” she said. “She stalked me, she harassed me, she bullied me. And keep in mind I was a minor. I was 16 and 17 during her period of bullying me and hating on me.”

Teigen reportedly harassed and mocked her over the abuse she’d suffered while dating alcoholic actor Doug Hutchinson, 58, whom she’d married nine years earlier.

“I’m not trying to say she knew what was happening, but when there’s a 16-year-old married to a 50-year-old, and you have a celebrity with a platform like Chrissy’s bullying a 16-year-old girl, it sticks with you, and I’m realizing how much Chrissy Teigen affected me,” Stodden continued.

Again, it’s awfully difficult to determine Stodden’s political leanings.

In fact, when she shared her photo to Twitter, it generated a confusing mixture of responses, with some people clearly interpreting it as pro-Trump, and others viewing it as anti-Trump.

Look:

If indeed Stodden does plan to vote for Trump, that would put her among a minority of Hollywood celebrities but a growing number of self-described liberals who’ve “walked away,” including critic and historian Fred Siegel.

Speaking this week with The Wall Street Journal, Siegel offered three reasons for his own switch.

One: Trump “crushing ISIS, pulling us out of the Iran nuclear deal, moving our embassy to Jerusalem, and making fools of those people who insist that the Palestinian issue is at the heart of the Arab-Israeli conflict.”

Two: Trump’s “ability to withstand a prolonged coup attempt by the Democrats and the media. … [W]hat I find impressive about Trump, it’s that he’s survived. He has an extraordinary amount of arrogance, egotism, and self-confidence.”

Three: Trump’s championing of “bourgeois values” like “hard work, faith, family and autonomy.”

Values that, incidentally, Stodden also seems to support … kind of.
