With President Donald Trump in his element Monday, 2020 Democratic nominee Joe Biden picked a bad day to have a senior moment… or three.
One week after being released from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where he received treatment for the Chinese plague, as the president calls COVID-19, Trump held a rally in Sanford, Fla., and he was in rare form.
Speaking for about an hour before a huge crowd — the media was aghast over a lack of social distancing and “spotty” mask-wearing — Trump commented on a number of gaffes from his Democratic opponent.
In addition to flubbing what office he’s running for, saying for the second time this year that he’s running for the Senate, Biden also appeared to forget Mitt Romney’s name Monday while taking questions from reporters in Ohio, calling the Republican senator from Utah “that senator who was a Mormon, the governor.”

“Joe Biden, not a nice guy by the way, not a nice guy,” Trump told the Florida crowd. “He had a very bad day today, he had a very bad day. You saw what happened. If I had a day today like he had they’d say, ‘It’s over, it’s over.'”
“No, Biden had a bad day,” he continued. “He forgot Mitt Romney’s name. He didn’t know what state he is in. And he forgot and said he’s running for the US Senate. The second time.”
Trump said Biden’s “got a lot of bad days coming.”
“Look, we can’t play games,” the president insisted, citing China and Russia to charge that Biden is not “a 100% sharp.”
In a tweet later in the day, Trump again referenced China in suggesting that Biden is “only going to get worse.”
“It is not sustainable for our County – China will own us!!!!” he tweeted.
“I’m running as a proud Democrat, for the Senate”. Sleepy Joe Biden today. It’s only going to get worse. It is not sustainable for our County – China will own us!!!!

Touting his own health, Trump mentioned his recent bout with COVID-19 and joked about kissing everyone in the audience.
“I went through it,” he said. “Now they say I’m immune.”
“I feel so powerful,” Trump declared. “I’ll walk into that audience. I’ll walk in there, I’ll kiss everyone in that audience. I’ll kiss the guys and the beautiful women … everybody. I’ll just give you a big fat kiss.”

He told his supporters that he was “energized” by their prayers and support, telling them he was “fighting to make sure we eradicate the virus, rebuild the economy and save our country from the radical left.”
“Under my leadership, we’re delivering a safe vaccine and a rapid recovery like no one can even believe,” the president said. “If you look at our upward path, no country in the world has recovered the way we have recovered.”
Still full of energy as the rally came to a close, Trump danced on stage to The Village People’s hit song “YMCA.”
