In what’s become a quadrennial tradition, polls showing the Democratic presidential candidate well ahead are showing up as Americans prepare to vote.

With a little over three weeks to go before Nov. 3, the party’s nominee this go-round, 77-year-old former vice president Joe Biden, is up by double digits we are told by the media, which is only too happy to report the results of the latest polling.

At the same time, our eyes continue to lie to us because the so-called momentum that Biden supposedly has is nowhere to be seen.

Kurt Schlichter, a popular online political commentator, offered a great visual of this inconsistency when he tweeted a photo of Sen. Elizabeth Warren stumping for Biden, mocking his supposed lead: “Biden is +62 in the polls.”

Citing 62% may seem like overkill, but don’t forget in 2016, as Americans went to the polls, a final Reuters/Ipsos States of the Nation survey said Democrat Hillary Clinton had about a 90% chance of defeating Donald Trump.

Warren traveled to Manchester, New Hampshire, and Lewiston, Maine, Saturday to campaign for Biden, and while she touted her effort online, the photos included show dismal turnouts.

Dan Felts, a Democrat running for governor in New Hampshire, also shared several images that eliminated any chance of thinking there were more people on hand than appeared in the angle of one photo Warren shared.

Not only is the liberal media sharing the polling that has Biden up by a substantial margin, they are also quick to note how dismal things appear to be for Trump — and “getting worse.”

Yet, the president appears to be as confident as ever when he appears before voters.

Of course, the polling appears to be meant to discourage Trump supporters from casting their ballots. The hope being that they see the polling and make a calculated decision that their vote won’t make a difference and stay home on Election Day.

Except, they should take note that many of these same polls in 2016 turned out to be as fake as Warren’s claim of being a Native American.

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from Twitter:
