Real Housewife rips off Joy Villa’s Trump dress look, but for Biden. We know who wore it better.

If there’s one set of words that best describes the Democrat Party’s presidential run this year, it may very well be the words “copy and paste.”

From Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden repeating near-verbatim what he’d said 12 years ago at the Democrat National Convention to him trotting out a coronavirus relief plan that’s a copy of the president’s plan, there’s been a lot of duplication.

But the desire to “copy and paste” hasn’t been limited to just the big players. It appears it’s also affected the Democrat Party’s most fervent supporters, including “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Jen Shah.

On Friday the show’s official Twitter account posted images of Shah wearing a demonstrably pro-Biden/Harris “dress.”

Look:

Does that “dress” look kind of familiar?

It should …

Why? Because the idea of donning a politically-themed dress originated three years ago with blacklisted pro-Trump singer-songwriter Joy Villa.

At the time, Villa stunned the world by showing up to the Grammy Awards with a dress featuring the campaign slogan “Make America Great Again” and the name “Trump.”

Here’s a reminder:

As to “who wore it better,” the responses to the tweet by “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” seem to speak for themselves.

Look (*Language warning):

Wearing a MAGA dress to the 2017 Grammy Awards was essentially Villa’s “coming out” moment. And in response to her “coming out,” members of the left predictably began smearing her as a “grifter” and “nobody.”

“Singer Joy Villa’s sales rocket as Trump supporters get a new nobody to fawn over,” a headline from Quarts reads.

It’s this backlash that made the singer’s “coming out” moment so genuinely stunning and brave, though she didn’t officially switch her registration to Republican until a month before the 2018 midterm elections.

“I’m actually a registered Republican for the first time in my life. When I voted for the first time ever, it was in 2008 for Barack Obama, and I was a registered independent. When I voted for Donald Trump in 2016, I was still an independent. For this November, I believe in and have thrown my weight behind voting Republican,” she wrote in an op-ed at the time.

“Why? Because the extreme left is out of control. They are no longer the moderates or centrists of old, the kind-hearted liberals who truly wanted to help the underprivileged and champion women’s rights and change America for the better.”

Now contrast Villa wearing a MAGA dress in a very anti-Trump world with Shah wearing a pro-Biden/Harris “dress” during a time when the media, Hollywood, tech giants and virtually every corporation is aligned with the Democrat Party.

Suffice it to say, there was no bravery involved with Shah’s stunt …

There was just imitation, though some say imitation is flattery.

Of course, one could argue that Shah could have done a significantly better imitation, given that her bizarre “dress” gives the appearance of her sitting “on top of a trash heap of discarded communist party signs,” as one person put it.

Villa’s dresses — note the plural — instead always have her looking like a beacon of light in a sometimes dark and cruel world.

Take for instance the dress she wore to the 2018 Grammy Awards, which happened only days after President Donald Trump was acquitted by the GOP-led Senate.

That dress read bluntly read, “Impeached and Re-elected.”

Trump hasn’t been reelected quite yet, but with Villa’s help, he may just be soon enough.
