In the aftermath of roughly 1,000 pages of additional declassified documents about the Russian collusion hoax, President Donald Trump says that the U.S. Department of Justice and Attorney General Bill Barr have all the evidence they need to proceed with indictments against bad actors within the Obama administration.

“Unless Bill Barr indicts these people for crimes — the greatest political crime in the history of our country — then we’re going to get little satisfaction,” Trump told Morning with Maria host Maria Bartiromo on the Fox Business Channel. “…And that includes Obama, and that includes Biden. These are people that spied on my campaign, and we have everything.”

Trump implied in the phone interview that the Justice Department wants to collect more information before potentially bringing criminal charges, “and I say, ‘Bill, we have plenty. You don’t need any more.'”

Later in the wide-ranging interview, when Bartiromo specifically asked the president about what will actually happen with all the new documents sitting on the AG’s desk, Trump added that “Bill Barr is gonna go down as either the greatest attorney general in the history of the country, or he’s gonna go down as a very sad situation.” At one point in the high-energy conversation, Trump questioned why Hillary Clinton was never charged for destroying 30,000-plus emails.

Trump also expressed disappointment that no charges followed the “scathing” report issued by DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz into the Russia investigation. He also slammed the indictments of Michael Flynn, Roger Stone, and Paul Manafort while many architects of the nefarious Trump-Russia probe aren’t being held accountable.

These new documents supposedly establish that Hillary Clinton cooked up the Trump-Russia narrative which has become known as Spygate. The ongoing John Durham investigation seems to be proceeding with no end in sight, with reports suggesting that indictments, if any, will occur after the election. If Joe Biden wins the presidency, any future indictments would likely be quashed.

Trump also expressed disappointment with the job performance of FBI Director Christopher Wray, particularly in downplaying the fraud that has already occurred in universal mail-in voting.

In an August 2020 phone interview with Bartiromo, the POTUS wondered if the investigation would bow to political correctness and let the higher-ups off the hook. He added that “Bill Barr can go down as the greatest attorney general in the history of our country or he can go down as just an average guy. It depends on what’s gonna happen.”

As a candidate, Trump regularly castigated politicians for all talk and no action.

In the same FBN interview on Thursday morning, President Trump said he won’t do a “virtual debate” with rival Joe Biden after the Commission on Presidential Debates announced the change, saying it would be a waste of time.
