CNN host Don Lemon said Tuesday during his program he believes that the “silent majority” of Americans will choose Democratic nominee Joe Biden to be president in a few weeks.

In his nightly handoff with fellow network host Chris Cuomo, Lemon began the segment by emphasizing that 2020 is not the same political landscape as 2016 when then-GOP nominee Donald Trump surprised most political analysts and defeated rival, Hillary Clinton.

To justify his claim, Lemon said that Biden has a higher favorability rating than Clinton, in addition to the fact that President Trump has a record he must defend.

And while some analysts have suggested that the “secret Trump voter” is quietly casting a vote for the president, Lemon claimed that if there are silent voters they are actually backing Biden.

“People talk about the ‘silent majority,’ you say you don’t see the lawn signs or whatever, I think that people feel that they don’t have to put up lawn signs and do all of those things because the lawn signs is Trump out every day giving misinformation,” Lemon said.

“And when someone — after someone annoys you for a while… what’s the best way to handle it? You just ignore it. When you ignore people, that is the worst thing that you can do to anyone,” he continued.

“So I think people are sick of, quite frankly, sick of us talking about Trump every single night, leading with him, it’s a bulk of our show. People are tired of it and they’re tired of his antics,” Lemon continued.

“And I think there’s a silent majority who’s gonna say, ‘You know what? I’m done.’ And they’re not yelling and screaming, they’re not ripping their masks off, they’re not yelling at people to wear masks,” Lemon said.

“It’s, quite frankly, most of them aren’t the young people who are out there on the streets… these are the steady voters, as I say, the ‘Church Hat Ladies’ who are going to vote and they are quite frankly tired of it because they think about their kids being bullied and they don’t like bullies,” he said.

In response, Cuomo said, “I don’t know about the church hat part, but we know that white women have been moving more towards Biden, we know that people who don’t like either candidate are breaking more towards Biden…than they did with Clinton.”

However, Cuomo suggested that the “silent majority” has “turned into the concern of whether or not the majority gets silenced through all of these suppression efforts with the ballots” — an apparent claim that the Trump administration was undertaking efforts to prevent people from voting.

“I’m not saying Joe Biden’s gonna win…or Trump’s gonna win. I’m saying that this isn’t 2016, and people love to view the election this time through a 2016 lens,” Lemon said.

In terms of voter suppression, neither host provided any evidence to corroborate their claims.

By comparison, however, Democrats and so-called ‘NeverTrump’ figures recently gamed various scenarios with an eye towards stealing results in court while creating post-election ballot chaos, according to some analysts.

“In one of the greatest public disinformation campaigns in American history — the Left and their NeverTrumper allies (under the nom de guerre: ‘Transition Integrity Project’) released a 22-page report in August 2020 ‘war gaming’ four election crisis scenarios:….The outcome of each TIP scenario results in street violence and political impasse,” writes Chris Farrell of the Gatestone Institute.

“The single greatest irony of the TIP report is the overwhelming use of ‘projection’ in framing and characterizing various claims against President Trump (and his supporters) as a means to justify the Left’s ‘irregular’ plans to disrupt the election process,” he added.
