It’s not easy being CNN when millions of Americans readily see them as “fake news,” thanks in large part to President Donald Trump’s persistence in calling the network out for its reporting.
On Saturday, CNN was forced to cut away from a live shot outside of the U.S. Supreme Court, when hecklers began shouting, “Fake News!”
CNN correspondent Ariane de Vogue was on site and was discussing the nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett with anchor Wolf Blitzer.
“I want to bring in our Supreme Court correspondent Ariane de Vogue,” Blitzer said. “We heard the president say that [Barrett] will decide cases based on the Constitution as written. And then we heard Judge Coney Barrett saying the law must be applied as written.”
“So explain to our viewers what is behind those specific words, where she is coming from and what we would anticipate if she does become a justice on the supreme over the next 30 or 40 years,” he added.
OMG CNN’s live shot for reporter Ariane de Vogue from the Supreme Court was CRASHED by people heckling her and shouting, “CNN is fake news! Yes! Fake news, CNN! Fake news! You’re fake! CNN is fake news. Fake news! Fake news, CNN! pic.twitter.com/DWXxM1Q5t7

As Vogue began speaking, the unruly crowd behind her began calling out “fake news” and “CNN is fake news!”
She can barely be heard as she mentions the heckling, referring to it as “a little bit of commentary here — it’s a crowd of Trump supporters.”
“I want you to stand by,” Blitzer replied. “We can barely what you are saying because of the crowd behind you. So standing by for a moment.”
He added that they might be able to “appreciate” what Vogue was trying to say if she had a handheld microphone, which may or may not be a shot at the reporter and her production crew.
Such rough treatment is generally reserved for CNN’s primadonna chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta, but given the networks’ actions over the past four years, it is getting harder and harder to consider them a serious news source.
Who can forget the Tampa. Fla., rally where Acosta was barraged with chants of “CNN sucks!” and “Tell the truth!” by a fired-up crowd.
President Donald Trump was in town to stump for now-Gov. Ron DeSantis, and as Acosta attempted to file a report, the audience let him know how that felt about him and his network.

Bingo.
Exactly why every damn one of these “journos” that KNOWINGLY misled their viewers should be held to account and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Never mistake cunning for stupidity.

They are getting a taste of their own medicine…freedom of speech. The Dems should have realized that at some point they’d arouse the fire breathing dragon that they were poking.

Finally some real news!

@CNN had to see this coming eventually. We reap what we sow. What was once the most trusted media outlet in the world is now nothing more than a television tabloid. There was more journalistic integrity on the Jerry Springer show.
