Left-wing extremists rioting in Portland, Oregon late Wednesday over the Breonna Taylor decision set the Portland Justice Center on fire and then threw multiple Molotov cocktails at authorities as local cops tried to move in to stop them.

Around 10:16 pm that evening, “the north side of the Justice Center was lit on fire,” according to a press release from the Portland Police Bureau. In response, local authorities declared a riot and told the extremists to return home. They disobeyed.

“Group members continued to block traffic in the streets and throw full soup cans towards officers. Green lasers, which cause permanent damage to vision, were shined at officers situated in the sound truck,” the press release continues.

“Officers began to disperse the crowd outside of Central Precinct again and a Molotov cocktail was thrown towards officers striking one in the foot. A Portland Fire Medic was nearby and able to extinguish the flames.”

The release further notes that the Molotov “could have caused serious physical injury to the officer” had a medic not immediately extinguished it.

“A second Molotov cocktail was thrown towards officers near Southwest 3rd Avenue and Southwest Main Street, and a third Molotov cocktail was thrown at officers near Southwest Broadway and Southwest Main Street,” the release continues.

The extremists also “threw rocks at officers.”

The latest riot in the radically far-left city comes as local prosecutors continue to drop charges against rioters, thus incentivizing them to continue misbehaving.

“At least 16 people facing protest-related charges were set to be arraigned Tuesday afternoon in Multnomah County Circuit Court. All but one had their charges dropped,” local station KOIN reported Tuesday.

It also comes as the increasingly propagandistic mainstream American media continue to gaslight Americans about the nature of the ongoing riots, and this despite the riots triggering progressively worse outcomes.

For instance, during riots late Wednesday in Louisville, Kentucky, the city where the Breonna Taylor verdict was announced, two local officers were shot and nearly killed.

Now here’s how Newsweek reported on the shooting: “Two officers from the LMPD have reportedly been shot and mass arrests occurred following a mostly peaceful protest near the city’s main courthouse.”

There was nothing “peaceful” about the riots that engulfed Louisville.

In reporting on the violent riots in Portland, Newsweek likewise made certain to emphasize that “Protesters initially gathered peacefully in the rain.”

That’s like saying “the murderers weren’t originally murderous” …

Riots also erupted late Wednesday in Seattle, where left-wing extremists assaulted the authorities and threw explosives, rocks and bottles at them. One officer was struck in the head with a baseball bat, according to the Seattle Police Department.

“Officers arrested 13 individuals for charges ranging from property destruction, resisting arrest and failure to disperse, as well as assault on an officer. Multiple officers were injured to include one who was struck in the head with a baseball bat, cracking his helmet,” the department said in a statement.
