There he goes again, Democratic nominee Joe Biden made yet another gaffe Sunday while speaking about the number of deaths resulting from COVID-19.
Speaking at a campaign event at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, Pa., the 77-year-old former vice president was weaponizing the virus gifted upon the world by China to attack President Donald Trump when he claimed that 200 million people have died.
“If Donald Trump has his way,” the candidate said, “the complications from COVID-19, which are well beyond what they should be — it’s estimated that 200 million people have died probably by the time I finish this talk.”
The Trump campaign wasted no time capitalizing on Biden’s latest blunder, sharing a clip online:

Biden’s claim would mean nearly two out of every three people have died, given that the U.S. population is 328 million.
The death toll is closing in on 200,000 coronavirus deaths, which is likely what Biden meant to say, but he clearly has trouble with numbers, as seen back in June, when he claimed 120 million Americans had died because of COVID-19. In February, during a primary debate, Biden claimed 150 million Americans have been killed with guns.
At a campaign rally Saturday night in North Carolina, Trump joked with attendees that because of Biden’s mental capacity, he may sign an executive order banning his opponent from being president.
“You can’t have this guy as your president,” Trump said. “You can’t have — maybe I’ll sign an executive order, you cannot have him as your president.”
The liberal media failed to see the humor in his remark:

In commenting on his upcoming debate with Biden — the first debate is a week from Tuesday, on Fox News — the president charged Biden is being given drugs that make him more alert.
“I’ve got a debate coming up with this guy,” Trump said Saturday. “You never know. They gave him a big fat shot in the ass and he comes out, and for two hours he’s better than ever before. Problem is, what happens after that?”
“We’re going to ask for a drug test,” he said. “We are. I’d like to have a drug test. Both of us, I’ll take it, he’ll take it.”

As for gaffes, blunders and flubs, it seems this is a Democratic norm these days.
On Sunday, 80-year-old House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (and her eyebrows) appeared on ABC’s “This Week,” and had an odd moment while talking about impeaching Trump to stop his U.S. Supreme Court pick from being confirmed to the bench.
After mentioning “arrows in our quiver that I’m not about to discuss,” anchor George Stephanopoulos tried to clarify that Democrats are not ruling anything out and Pelosi replied, “Good morning, Sunday morning.”
