It appears angry anti-Trump professors are a dime a dozen these days …

Meet Jennifer Mosher, an assistant biology professor at Marshall University’s College of Science. While ranting and raving at her students during a recent virtual lecture, she bluntly told them that she hopes President Donald Trump’s supporters die.

Marshall University is situated in Huntington, West Virginia.

Mosher issued the disturbing remarks in response to having read reports — likely from the hypocritical mask police at CNN — about Trump supporters who’d opted not to wear a mask during a recent indoor rally (presumably the one in Nevada).

“I think yesterday he held one inside. Nobody wore a mask. And I’ve become the type of person where I hope they all get it and die. I’m sorry, but I am so frustrated, and I don’t know what else to do,” she said.

“You can’t argue with them, you can’t talk sense into them. I said to somebody yesterday I hope they all die before the election. That’s the only saving hope I have right now. Definitely bootlickers.”

The projection and cognitive dissonance were remarkable …

Listen:

An unnamed student reportedly recorded the video and shared it to social media. After it went viral and the university learned of it, school officials promptly placed Mosher on administrative leave pending an investigation.

“Marshall University this morning announced it is aware of an overtly political statement made by a faculty member in a recent virtual classroom session and widely circulated on social media,” the university said in a statement Friday.

“The university does not support or condone the use of any of its educational platforms to belittle people or wish harm on those who hold differing political views. The professor was removed from the classroom yesterday and is on administrative leave, pending an investigation. There will be no further comment on this personnel matter at this time.”

While the identity of the student who exposed the professor’s remarks remains unknown, several other students from the university who spoke with Huntington station WOWK all agreed that Mosher had been out of line.

“Everybody’s got their own opinion. I don’t think that should’ve been said in a classroom, I don’t think that should’ve been said at all, but people have their opinions and they sometimes slip out,” one freshman said.

“You know, that’s her opinion, but in the end I don’t think it should have been said especially on an online class in front of impressionable young men and women,” another student, also a freshman, reportedly said in a tweet.

Pressure is now growing for the university to outright fire Mosher.

Look (*Language warning):

By “this,” the latter Twitter user meant the surging trend of virulently anti-Trump professors (and sometimes public school teachers) making deranged remarks and then being let off the hook with a simple suspension versus a termination.

In fact, in one case, the university instead punished the student who’d exposed his insane teacher for referring to the president as a white supremacist.

Meanwhile, the few pro-Trump professors and teachers who line America’s institutions of education are often quickly fired for far less grievous offenses.

Take these ones:

The Michigan varsity baseball coach and social studies teacher who posted the tweets above earlier this summer was fired. Meanwhile, a Texas high school teacher was fired last year for asking the president to remove any illegal alien students from her school.

Perhaps if both of these teachers had simply wished death on the president, they’d still be employed …
