A woman in Portland casually dismissed the murder of a member of the Patriot Prayer group last month, an organization whose members are mostly supportive of President Donald Trump.

In a short video clip posted online by a new streaming network The First, the unidentified woman says she has not heard of “another Trump supporter being shot in Portland, so the f**k what.”

“He got shot. Is he alive?” she asks the correspondent.

“I believe he died,” the correspondent answers.

“Well…tough luck. Don’t be a Trump supporter in Portland,” she replied.

The conversation appears to be related to an incident in late August involving the shooting death of Aaron Danielson, a member of the conservative Patriot Prayer organization who was shot and killed by self-identified Antifa supporter Michael Forest Reinoehl, who himself was later shot and killed by federal agents a few days later in Washington state.

Danielson’s friend and fellow Patriot Prayer member Chandler Pappas said that Reinoehl and others “hunted” them down after recognizing their hats.

“It escalated to the point that they executed my partner,” said Pappas. “They hunted him down, they hunted us down, they recognized our Patriot Prayer hats.”

As for appearing to justify Danielson’s murder, the Portland woman is not the only one who has done so.

Controversial University of Rhode Island Professor Erik Loomis overtly justified the killing in response to a reader of a blog post he wrote earlier this month discussing Reinoehl’s fate.

“Michael Reinoehl is the guy who killed the fascist in Portland last week. He admitted it and said he was scared the cops would kill him. Well, now the cops have killed him,” Loomis wrote Sept. 4.

“I am extremely anti-conspiracy theory. But it’s not a conspiracy theory at this point in time to wonder if the cops simply murdered him. The police is [sic] shot through with fascists from stem to stern. They were openly working with the fascists in Portland, as they were in Kenosha which led to dead protestors,” Loomis continued.

One reader responded in reference to Reinoehl, “Erik, he shot and killed a guy.”

The professor responded, “He killed a fascist. I see nothing wrong with it, at least from a moral perspective,” adding that “tactically, that’s a different story. But you could say the same thing about John Brown.”

The Patriot Prayer organization does not embrace or promote fascism, but even if it did, those views are protected by the First Amendment, as are the views expressed by left-wing groups.

Frequently listed as “fascist” and “far-right” by critics, the Vancouver, Washington-based organization founded in 2016 by conservative activist Joey Gibson frequently stages rallies in support of President Donald Trump and conservative, religious principles in liberal cities like Portland.

“In past interviews with the Associated Press, Gibson has said he and his group are not a hate group and simply want to exercise their freedom of speech without interference from left-wing groups or protesters,” Fox News reported after Danielson was gunned down.

In 2017, the group kicked white supremacist Jeremy Christian out of a rally in Portland for flashing Nazi hand symbols. Christian would later be convicted of fatally stabbing two men who rushed to defend two black teens, receiving two life sentences.
